Thanks guys. Got bigger o ring. Rebuilt atty, followed videos to a tee. Leaking less but still leaking quite a bit. Still leaking from the 510 threads. I know it's me but can't figure out what. Great vape though! Great taste too! Maybe when Penelope arrives I'll have it figured out. My coil making is getting better after one day.

Should I be screwing the rebuild able atty into the 510 base more than I am? I'm screwing it in until about 1-2 mm of pin stick out the end.

Thanks all I'm sure I'll get there.

You'll get it down :) I've had my Ody for 6 months or so and still occasionally get a leaky build. So I tear it down, inspect and lube and try all over again (I usually don't make a new coil, though, just re-do the assembly) until I get it figured out. The root cause usually winds up being something little and I kick myself for not noticing it the first time ;-)

One thing you could do is if you're only getting a little bit of leaking, try a thicker juice and you may solve the issue that way. Not the root cause, of course, but it will be vapable anyway without needing a box of tissues at hand.

Thanks Kill,
Yes, I'm sure it's a learning curve as with anything. Switched to all VG liquid tonight and Vaped for a good two hours before my wick became black. In sure it's because the juice was very dark. My wife timed my rebuild and it ce in at 14 minutes start to finish. Filled her up with new juice and am happily vaping some nutty tobacco with 2 drops of heavy menthol. Yummm.

I think maybe I'll try an even bigger o ring on the bottom of the Attu portion. At some point it has to block up that hole.

Cheers to great vaping inventions and great scotch!!

Chris

Its possible you are screwing it down to tight putting pressure on the center pin which would cause small leaking... another trick is to equalize the pressure like when you blow your ears out on a plane... simply unscrew ODY from device and blow into the mouthpiece a few times into a paper towell until no more juice comes out thus equalizing the tanks internal pressure....

1-2mm black? Thats a huge distance! No, just screw the rebuildable part until you feel a nice resistance of the lower o-ring against the base. Then after you put the big ring around the ceramic housing and screw it, put your fingers around the ceramic housing and screw it a little more. This will make the big ring to totally sit on the base of Ody

ps......... dont forget to lube the lower o-ring so it will not stuck in the bottom of Ody's base and it will be dificult for you to unscrew the ceramic housing from the base

I am very glad that you did the trick black and you finally enjoy your Ody!:)

I love it!!! Thanks Imeo. If it wasn't for the 4th of July postal holiday I'd be vaping my Penelope's today. Oh well I'll take the day off work and vape my Ody while lighting fireworks all night. Hahahah!!!

Thanks again,

Chris
