I guess the storytime thread has run its course, but I really enjoyed reading all the imaginative responses to the continuing saga. Oh woe is me!!

I have to go back and read it again....I get the characters and such all mixed up.....now where is my pen and paper??? It's note time
If they kill the cat I'm back in! LOL, just kidding... I just find the 2 sentence rule a bit too restrictive. I'd much prefer a paragraph rule set, with exceptions for what I'll call sidebar stories to carry a thought through on background introductions for characters and whatnot, but it was not set up that way. A very cool idea, and as someone suggested, another similar thread could be started someday, but not so soon on the heels of this one.
No worries....the story will continue. I just had a lot on my plate the last week and half waiting to hear on missing family in Japan. They are all safe now and back in Okinawa.

This makes it difficult for other contributors to go forward within the story line, which is why it so important to limit contributions to 2 sentences.
If everybody went 3-5 sentences, introducing new characters with every other sentence the story can never move forward and starts to completely fall apart.
We will try and get to the end, I just hope we can allow the characters in the story, along with the story line itself to develop a little more.
I will be adding to the story later, I am in the middle of making 100 Potstickers for a party tomorrow. MMMMMMMMMmmmmm Potstickers!!!!

So glad to hear the good news about your family in Japan, Snow. I have never in my whole life felt as sorry for any country as I do the Japanese. My first international donation ever--before only have given locally.

It's as Ronnie B said, this has shown how bad things are in america. Normally we'd be the first country to go help. This time around we're in such a bad financial state we can't do anything....
mmmm....love potstickers. They have frozen potstickers at the market, but it doesn't come with sauce.

that sounded like it. I first tried them at Costco where they were giving away samples...and they came

The wife and I make a number of different dipping sauces, but the one I think you are describing is one of the easiest ones.
2 tablespoon
balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon sweet thai chili garlic sauce
Making Pot Stickers from scratch is pretty easy to do, if you ever want to try it let me know.
