Seriously, I was intimidated about filling my own cartos when I started last year. When I got a sample of juice, I decided to try it. I've used a condom, dripped, and syringed. (This just sounds wrong huh?) LOL. It really doesn't matter which method you use. The key is to make sure you get juice all through the filler and keep it moist. Honestly, all the methods work. Try whatever you're most comfortable with. There's no wrong way other than NOT getting the filler wet enough, or leaving a puddle on top of the filler. As long as it's thoroughly slushy, you're fine.

Just one more little point that I don't think has been covered. If after you have your carto filled and it looks perfect but now you can't figure out why you can't get much vapor. It has happened to me. I find that it has just a bit to much juice in it. Usually happens most often when topping it off. Just gently and sometimes not so gently, blow into the mouth end into a tissue to get the excess juice out.

I've had carto's that would just not recover from flooding even after blowing them out, several times. Anything else I should do?

Let them sit awhile and blow them out again. If that doesn't work, empty them with the "Taryn Spin". You can look that up in Youtube and see it demonstrated. The Taryn Spin virtually empties them dry. We used to do it in the ole days to recover leftover juice from a carto that had burned out. (They're more reliable now).

If you empty it with the Taryn spin, and the tube isn't crushed or blocked, and it still doesn't work right after re-filling, there's something seriously wrong with it.

Also, if your in a hurry , you don't have to use a syringe. You can just fill a condom up about halfway with juice and slowly push the carto back into it.

That is my way of doing it. I hated the pop the top off, drip in etc. No thanks! just use the condom, and its filled perfectly!, the only way for me. I normally drip during the day, but if I am going out I use the carto....

Thanks guys so much for all the advice. I think I may try the condom method. Teehee.

I got some butterscotch and got so excited I didn't shake the bottle. It tastes foul. I may try another one with it shaken haha.

All my juices got searched by customs. Should I be concerned? Lol.
