I'm sorry, I know this question is probably gonna make you want to stick a fork in your eye because you've no doubt posted the data on these many somewhere-elses, but:

Until V4L does come out with it's own branded Fat Batt, is it possible to use their 1.5ohm DVCT tanks on another fat batt (it's 808 threaded) that only runs at about 3.6 volts or so? How about the 2.0 ohm dual replacement cartos?

Lasy Eleanor haven't recieved the ryhmes with kolt fat batt yet to test, but should be here tomorrow. Will let you know as soon as it does.

Can tell you they work on 3.2v regulated 510 ego's with an adapter to 808 threading, so not too worried they'll work with these 3.6v kolt batteries.

I believe I know which fat battery you're talking about Eleanor. I just got mine today, and that's one of the first things I tried on it. I can't get the tanks to fire on it-sob....I love my tanks and for now they'll be staying on my KD's and Titans. I'll anxiously await what the expert Morandir says. I'll be curious if he can get them to work. If not, I'm sure he'll be able to explain why they don't/won't work!

I've heard of another fat batt they reliably fire on Eleanor, but I've heard that this fat batt may not like going under 2.0 ohms

no way of testing this myself at the moment

and without Morandir I'm lost on whether batt X or Y is high drain or not and using this set up will destroy it rapidly...

Thanks, all. I'm actually wondering about 2 fat batts I already own (not the brand new neato ones from "Kolt" ). I guess I could just try them out myself, but I was so traumatized yesterday by my initial tank-filling experiences that I wasn't ready to venture out into any more unknown territory.

Anyhoo, I'm going to wait and see what results Morandir gets with the New Toy (and I still want a 1300 or at least a 900mah batt from V4L that runs at 4.2v!!!).

What we need is a FAT batt that works like a King Diamond!!!! these little batts are great! sitting here now with a kolt with a CE@ 2.6/2.8 and it's ok,...bed time .

Lady Eleanor, ordered two 1300mah batts. Batt 1 would work with the 2.5ohm dc's, and the 2.0 and 3.0 single coils. Batt 2 would work with the 2.0ohm dc's and previous stated batts. Neither worked with the 1.5ohm dc's...

Ahhhh! that was my problem. I was using a 1.5 DC. I think I have a 2.5 around here somewhere. I'll have to try it when I find it....
