Ok, so I've been drooling over all the pics of tricked out mods here on ECF.I thought I'd go for it.....ya know trade up from wimpy ego-twist.But now that I have it weighing heavily, and I mean heavily in my hands, I'm a little shocked at how big it is.Did anyone else have any second thoughts about vaping on a large mod in public ? How did you get over it?

Normally, I use one of my mechs when out and about. They're smaller and less intimidating to others.

A Vamo, and it has an AGA-T on it. Its gotta be a least 8+ inches, even in 18350 mode.So yes I'm feeling a little silly for not checking the specs a little closer. Still good around the house.Although I think my husband has a little "size envy".

Stays at home or in the truck, don't like carrying around a rebuildable.

I vape where ever i go with my provari w/extended cap and protank. But its a common thing to vape in public around here. My suggestion is go use it and not care what people think. Plus you'll be thankful for the extra battery life that you have when your on the go. The only thing that you have to get used to is people asking what is it. Eventually it won't even matter since the Vape movement is growing by the min everywhere.

I don't feel as odd anymore now that around here it has gotten more popular. Used to get odd looks even with an ego when I first started. Getting a vamo and agi in the mail soon, have a twist my wife uses more than I do and a cheap mech mod that I can change the size of. When I'm out I just use whatever I felt like that day. Noticed the last trip to vegas that most of the hotel employees now use them, I guess they must have imposed a smoking regulation for med insurance or something.

I've been taking my vamo out all week. Vaping isn't big here so I get all sorts of "look at the guy sucking on the lightsaber" stares.

Screw it. I'll do whatever I want.

I have a mini ego battery that I use, not because I want to fit in, but because I don't want to risk damaging/losing my vamo.

Yeah, I'm not really into the aesthetics of the bigger tube mods. I started with a cigalike got some ego twists soon after. Then I got a vv box mod, then an eRoll. My latest is the provari mini, I hate being without it, and it fits in my hand perfectly.

haha I always see the face too! Thanks Nick. All the pv's I use are pretty big. And I'm used to the looks by now, been a year lol. At first I was kinda leary of doing it in public, now it's second nature. Whatever works to keep you from smoking! It's funny I'll be at a bar and see two people talking about their egos, so I take out my silver bullet with an aga t2 and start vaping. Eventually they come over and start asking me questions haha.

I get questions about my "big thing" all the time. I just go with it.

Really though, the Vamo is a best heh. I just don't care if people stare. if they ask questions is might be an opportunity to flip a smoker .

Vamos are wimpy ...try a BombShell Stinger - it runs a 26650.... battery! Yeah, I get some stares, but who cares- I chain-vape, and it still lasts for almost two days between charges.

Time to play with the Big Boys....
