Has San Francisco really banned flavours? I also read something about this being followed nationwide!!!

I heard something about a vote but never heard anything else.

If you think about it we're told what to do everyday, how fast to go, when to stop, some places you can't leave your trash cans out overnight...

Most of them rules are fair though. How fast to go and when to stop do more good than harm.
The bins thing annoys me across the board.

It is a completely stupid law, but nothing is stopping anyone from buying flavors separately and adding it to their unflavored.

It is frightening, it seems as though everybody's "good idea" become a new rule, generally backed up by some sort of biased thing they call "studies show".

This situation reminds me of when I was a child and asked my parents "Why?", they would only reply "Because".

Now that I am an adult, the government is still telling me "Because".

I would add, if you are referring to excessive rule making, to the response your parents gave, "Because I can, I want to and you must yield".

We can't leave trash out here because it attracts bears.. so keeping it either in a bear proof locked trash can (bin) or in your house til trash day is a simple safety feature.

Can't have bears seeing people as a food source - that can go all kinds of bad.

As far as somewhere in California, yes, they are putting flavors to a vote. Hasn't been voted on yet but I'm sure they will make them illegal..
