I heard that vaping could lead to this, but I never thought it would happen to me!

I started with a 510 I got for Christmas. That lasted me about a week until I wanted better battery life. So I got a Madvapes boxmod. Boy, it was sure better!

Then I got bit out in my shop by the modder bug. I started making all kinds of boxmods, flashlight mods, wooden mods, 5V and VV mods. But now it's happening. I'm dripping! And you know what? It's the best vaping experience I have had!

I haven't made a mod in like almost a week, I couldn't control myself this evening .... down to the shop and this is the result .... I call it The Green Dripping Thing. Maybe you can think of a better name??? Suggestions would be nice.

Description: 3.7V FET-driven touch-mod 510 dripper (no moving parts at all)

Parts list:

Green 2-AA box (madvapes)
510 atty connector for touchpad, 510 batty connector on top (goodprophets)
MOSFET: IRL3103 N-Channel (ebay)
Bi-color LED (ebay)
Joye 510 Atty (junk drawer)

I think it was about 5 bucks or so total, pretty good

Let's see pics please ....

The touchpad

The backside

The guts

Wow!!!

So watchathink, eh? Thanks, Alan

Love it and love the dripping experience. Dripping has been about all I do Still using my reg 510 I received for Xmas. Do wish I had your talent. What are you using for the drip tip?

Why thanks much boys and girls:)

About the drip tip: it's a neoprene barrel pad from a ballpoint pen. I did a "tips and tricks" about that a while ago. Keeps the atty cool to the touch and soft on the lip. Besides, it looks cool too.

Thank you asnider..must be the att'y you are using that looks so different or something....I use a lot of pen caps. A grip that I like, I just can not get clear down over a regular sized att'y, then I am constantly struggling to get it off because does not go down as far as I would like it to to drip. I know picky picky....lol

Anyhow, I enjoy your mods and seeing what you come up with next.

There are many diff pen grips, I have some that fit a 510 atty, others that work great with the larger 801 carto. The atty inside the gripper is a standard 510 Joye, left over from our original 510 kits we got for Christmas. It is slightly tapered, so it does get tighter as you slide it in, but not so tight that you can't screw a 510 extension on it and use the extension as a handle to pull it back out.

You might try a tiny smear of VG on the outside of the atty when installing the grip-tip (that's a neat name!) .. VG is good for neoprene, keeps it pliable. I use it to lube o-rings, etc. Keeps the rubber in good shape. It's good for other things too :)

Sweet one there. Beware the hazards of dripping, you'll go through lots more juice than you usually do.

I'd like to see you get your hands on one of these just to see what you come up with:
$9.04 - Zobo Colorful 2-LED Smoking Filter Tobacco Water Pipe Set (3*LR41) - Cigar Pipes and Cases

That would be the world's largest tank mod, wouldn't it :) Probably cost $50 to fill it up.

An American Seller has something similar on ebay:
Multi Function cigrette tobacco Water Pipe With screen | eBay

Tempting :)

Maybe at 6v but I seem to be fixed on 4.7v. Dual-coil cartomizers are so decadent but go through so much more juice than when I drip IMHO. I haven't done a scientific investigation but it sure seems like it.

You're give away MOD contest is great at:Gecko Mod Give Away Contest
That my friend is a wonderful gesture. I'm not entering so to allow maybe a well deserving member to win and not someone who already has multiple PV's.
You will for sure be the most popular person around.

Be prepared to be glued to your thread until it's over, I know I will.
