Obsession with searching the net, buying and vaping might be a good thing its helps stay of the analogs.
I can see you soon making some sort of pv holder on one of them guitars !

Yeah, that's the part I haven't figured out yet. Since about 2001, when music-making tech started becoming powerful enough, I've fully integrated the computer obsession with the music obsession.

Still don't quite see the connection with vaping yet. Microprocessor-controlled switching between multiple 2-drop carts attached to a battery? E-cigs that play "Smoking in the Boys Room" when you fire them up?....

DIY = Do It Yourself... making your own juice. It's fun but I haven't quite got the hang of it yet.

I agree! It is alot of fun but I don't know that I would have wanted to start out doing DIY. It might be better to get your feet wet and learn as much as possible first :)

Yeah, I'm gonna hold back awhile on that myself -- but I can already relate to it from Back In The Day when we'd buy bulk ink and refill inkjet cartridges. I worked for a program that was burning up about $300 a month in cartridges, and ran that down to close to zero monthly cost by buying ink by the quart. I'm real comfortable with injecting odd liquids into odd places... :p

I wouldn't even know where to begin on DIY.....I know that I'm paying 16.95 per bottle of juice at the store I go to. It's probably expensive but I don't have to wait for it and I don't have to pay for shipping.

Speaking Texan noob to Texan noob -- If you're already refilling with juice, you're halfway there, I think. On the other hand, part of my struggle with obsession is learning how to just find something simple and straight-forward that works, and then move on to doing something more productive with my time.

I'll remind you of those words when you're on your 3rd mod and 100th bottle of juice.

Listen, I hope you love your kit and that this works out for you. Don't expect too much too soon. Don't put pressure on yourself.

I never intended to quit smoking when I started vaping. Once I tried it I realized it was possible, and I slowly began to like vaping more than smoking.

I liked smoking- and it's nice to be able to do something you enjoy and not feel guilty about it.

swedishfish and mariahpoo -- Yeah, I'm actually pretty motivated, and not just in that negative, grim "I-gotta-change-or-die" way.

The reality for me is that I've been drenching my brain in nicotine for almost five decades, and my brain has always loved the effects. Nicotine is a GREAT drug. We're finally getting some tech on board with vaping that lets me separate that out from the negative effects of all the other stuff in tobacco.

This isn't necessarily an attempt to quit analogs entirely -- though I wouldn't mind if it ended up that way -- just an attempt to quit failing at going toward health. This has the possibility of being an enjoyable solution for my particular set of drivers, not a struggle or a compromise. I surmise this is the case for a lot of people here.

Frankly, vaping looks like it just might be a helluva lot of fun. I'm looking forward to playing with the new toys!

One of the things I found out about myself is that when I went down to my local store and was able to try other flavors I found that I didn't like the analog cig taste. So I stick to what turns me on and I don't even think about analogs anymore. My husband is so happy, he's been coming up and kissing me all the time. I thought I wouldn't be able to quit. I honestly thought this was a fad and I'd end up failing. But now its the only thing I want. I tried smoking an analog and lets just say my breakfast didn't taste good a second time. I hope you find vaping much better and that you do quit. I wish you luck in whatever choice you make. :)

Keep On Vaping!!!

I disagree with this. You always need minimum two of what keeps you from smoking --backup. Things break, get lost, and stolen.

Ahhhh... Let's not forget the third off-site backup, in case of meteor strike, flooding, earthquake, etc.

And maybe another rig at the safe location you've set up to go to when the next Zombie Apocalypse kicks off. :2cool:
