Ohio vapors?

Wife and I are in Canton. Would love to have a get together and politely vape away at some public place, get the word out perhaps...

I'd have to say though, I look rather a bit intimidating... so perhaps I'm *not* the best one to be in this kinda thing ;-)

Wife and I just started (got a j118 last week, then ordered 2 510's another j118...pipe and parts... got those Saturday..still waiting for our uber supply of flavors). We've vaped at Geisenhaus after dinner, and here and there...

I've got 2 non smokers are work interested in getting these with 0mg liquid. One wants a pipe "because it tells the world that they are not important, the pipe is the most important thing in your life..everything else is ancillary".. Thinks it'll help dealing with car salesman ;-)

If we had enough interest, I've got hosting, could drop a Joomla or other site on a subdomain for Ohio Vapors...

That is interesting...I am in the middle of programming a joomla based site for work at the moment. That might be a good idea. As long as you have a head, you are ok in my book (in regards to the way you look). I have noticed more vapors in the northern part of the state. Maybe if we all got together, it would be better to swing somewhere up there..Just a thought.
You will be happy with the 510s, i have bought 6 510 its in total, and am happy with everything they provide. My everyday staple has become is my SD, but hard to bring that out and about everywhere...Also, if we all could get together at some point, i am collecting a bit more juice than i thought i would. sampling out what we have would be a good thing to start with maybe..

I have a feeling we're all fairly 'far flung'. That being said, the wife and I are going to go back to bowling at this old shabby bowling alley here in Canton. The guy that's always there (I suspect the owner) smokes a pipe, prior to the smoking ban the wife and I bowled there pretty much every friday night during the summer. After, we stopped..

Point being (I think I have one ;-) I'm pretty sure he'll not care if we vape... we'll bring down the wifes e-pipe too so he can try it out (if interested)... Perhaps if he's okay with vaping we could get something together...bowling, cheap beer (crummy bud, pretty much all they have ;-(... vaping...

If we have any interest in our own Ohio web home... I can have a basic joomla site setup in 10 minutes, perhaps toss SMF forum on there and boom..instant web presence... Not sure it's necessary, but who knows.

I know the feeling, seem to eyeing anything that resembles a storage container whenever i head out to a store. Just keeping it all together is hard enough.
We could have a vapetainer building party, I've got all the tools necessary (I think...table saw, router, air nailer, glue...should cover it). I'm planning on building some sort of box (we've got a few ideas) that will contain all of the A/C powered charging devices, labelled storage for atty's, carts, batts..etc... Attach a small power strip to the inside so that all the chargers can be plugged into that, one cord from the box and super easy.. Biggest problem is what shape, we've talked about octagonal, coffin shape...dodecahedron (too tall there).. ;-)

Tempted to make it like an old style 'smoking stand'... but I don't want to make drawers ;-)

Been storing all the liquid in an egg carton in the fridge for now...

I have been putting my liquids in a tuperware thing in the fridge, not really the best solution, but it works. I like the vapetainer idea. I have been filling a couple odd cases i have lying around with the parts, but something cohesive like that would be nice. I like the coffin shape myself, but would be open to anything. I would definately be interested in the bowling alley idea. Let me know if you can get the pipe guy interested, or at least see if that would be a feasible place to meet.
I think a Ohio site would be good. The more presence we can muster, the more people we can get involved.
I am up for doing anything i can to get something going.

In theory the wife and I will be scouting out the bowling alley this friday. We'd be up for coming down to Columbus as well, although it'd be best if it was during the day.. gotta be home to feed the dog... either that or a dog friendly place ;-)

Thanks for the warm welcome. By the way, I'm using a brand called e-cig.com

I found them at a tobacco store in Kentucky last week and bought the starter. I LOVE THEM, so I went to the website and ordered more. My first order (from China) has already arrived, and I've since placed two more orders, one which I expect tomorrow and another that will likely arrive next week.

My question, or comment really, is that I haven't seen ANYONE mention this particular brand. Since this is my first vaping experiencing, and I'm loving it completely, I'm wildly curious if there's other here using the same product as me. I know we all call them e-cig's, but in this case, that's actually the URL of the website, and it appears they are actually a manufacturer as well. I've ordered a sample pack of all the flavors... so far using Marlbro, coffee and chocolate, and must say I LOVE the coffee. Oh, and menthol too, just for an occasional change. All very good, but again, I don't have anything to compare it against, except for the old analogs which I'm trying my best to quit. (down to 3-4 a day now, and I think I'll be able to kick this for the first time in 40 years!!!!)

I would especially be interested if anyone had used this same product, and have now switched to something else becuase they somehow found it to be superior.

Always in search of the ultimate in everything in life... LOL

Welcome Klaatu!
Wesk, I havent heard of the brand before. Looked at the website, which one did you get? I think some of them are similar to other models mentioned on this forum. Looks like a good site, prices seem reasonable. Im glad you found something you like. It took me about a week or two to kick the analogs, but once i did, i never looked back.

I got the E9 model. It's self contained. You simply discard everything except the battery (Ie... the atomizer and cartridge) once it's gone. One cartridge lasts me more than a day. (I generally smoke less than a pack a day of analogs)...

Like I say, I'm thrilled with the product, HOWEVER, it doesn't really "taste" like a Marlboro - but it does have good tactile feel and sensation, and it seems to have plenty of smoke, though it sometimes take a couple of hits to get it going good.

I just wonder how this compares to the many more complex devices I see everyone raving about, such as the screwdriver etc...

Being a complete noob at this, there's so many words and phrases that at this point are completely foreign to me. But I love this whole vaping thing and want to learn all there is to learn about it.

Love to get together with some others some time and compare notes, and also compare tastes produced with our equipment. (We could simply use alcohol wipes on the mouth pieces to avoid contamination etc....) I would love to do some real comparisons.

That would be a lot of fun, and a real down to earth test.

So anyone interested in the Cleveland area, let's hook up and have coffee and do some vaping!

Wes
