Cartomizer and Atomizer Ohm MeterIF you can catch it in stock, it's the best way I've found, but get a good multimeter too. It'll come in handy for a lot of other things.
The way I got mine was to get on EVERY email notification list out there. Even when you get the emails, if you're not quick on the trigger, you'll miss out (ask me how I know). It only took a week or so for me to get one. I think when they ship, they ship all at once to every vendor that carries them because I got several "in stock" emails within days of getting mine. I saw one sell for $84.00 on eBay. He must have really, really, really wanted one!! GOOD LUCK!!!!!
Multimeters are typically off by +/-200m Ohms. Really having a multimeter will just confirm open contacts or shorts. That way you don't have to confirm if the circuit is fine without putting power to it that will read off the ohmmeter of the APV.
I also got mine from RTD and like others already said you can get on a notify list...I used mine again this weekend rebuilding my Davide and evod heads..

I know the cheaper one that I returned was something like the the one I just bought says in the 400 omega-4k +-1.2%of reading +-4 in last digit. But say if my meter would read 2 ohm wouldn't that still be somewhere in the 1.8 ohm range to 2.2 range(note there are 4 digits after the decimal point) I am ball parking here on the math or am I figuring it out wrong?
It will just have to do until I can get the other one.
I've always used a meter, both a digital and an analog. I can understand wanting the protection on devices but I tend to trust my meters a lot more. Just my humble opinion.
