I recently found an 510 ohm meter at vapor-hub and i'm not so sure about it. I built a new coil for my rm2 rba. On the ohm meter, it read as 2.2 while on my Provari it read as 1.7. This is quite unsettling. I trust the ohm check on my Provari more than this thing. What do you think?

Would a multimeter be the most accurate method?

It depends on the Multimeter. A Provari fires the coil then reads it. So your getting a true underload reading its hard to beat that.

Touch your leads together in ohms menu. You will get a resistance reading then test your coil subtract the number you got when you touched your leads and you should have a accurate reading.

When you test the rm2, do you just touch one lead to one post and the other lead to the other post? (This may be a stupid question but I have never used a multimeter to check resistance)

The positive post will always be above the firing pin of your pv..in the center. I use flukes all the time with work. While it doesn't matter and it will just show a negative reading of yhe same value, I keep it in safe practice and keep the color code how it should be. All my meters are fuse protected, but still, don't f... with electricity.

I can't edit on phone. ..

I have seen some atomizers not specifically designed for e-liquid that have the same sized posts on opposite sides of eachother. I actually haven't seen if you get a negative value on my rba with the leads switched.. I guess you wouldn't due to no power being read. I'll take some time to figure out how to edit on ecf app...

Not sure what RM2 is? I always try to go red to positive and blk to ground as said above its more of just being in the habit of doing it the way its supposed to be done rather than weather the reading is the same or not.

EDIT Its a RBA I goggled it. You can test the posts or the pin in the center of the threads and the threads. Its not really important where you put red or black the wire or the meter don't care for checking resistance.
