Hey guys I didn't know where to ask this question so I thought I'd ask here. My ohm reader has been acting up, when I'd turn it on and screw on the atty (Plume Veil 1.5) it'll read my dual parallel 6 wrap 24g build as 0.00. I ended up changing the batteries and it now reads 0.11 when I turn it on after screwing it in. I would then take it out and screw it back on and it'll read 0, but turn it off then on and it'll read 0.11 again. I borrowed a friend's ohm reader and it would read my build as 0.13. Screw it off and on and then reads 0.15, turn it off then on and it's back to 0.13.
So I don't know if it's something with my ohm reader that's not reading it correctly or if it' actually 0.11. I am using an IMREN 18650 38a 2600maH battery. I should also note that the plume veil's silver plating on the contact is starting to chip away but it's been fine when I had a 0.22 build on it.
Should I replace my ohm reader? Maybe it was a short or something but I don't know what would cause my ohm reader to short. Unless it was this marble I found that could questionably be metal that I put on the post of the ohm reader to take a quick picture and accidentally left it on there before leaving for work. I don't know but with the battery I'm running I don't want to be pushing the crap out of it/have a potential to short. Thanks guys.
