Bahahaha! That lady has convinced me to buy an rta without even conversing about it. I've been eye effing that Hastur rta too. Seems like a winner.
The Hastur RDA is pretty nice. I bought the V1 when it was released months ago and the flavor is pretty darn good. Plus it's top airflow so no leaking. I don't know if you drip, but if you do or have been considering it you could do a lot worse for $30 shipped. They only have the V2 available now but it's probably better because it uses a Velocity deck unlike the V1.

ETA: I realize that's really neither here nor there since you're talking about the RTA but just wanted to mention it.

I'm gonna hold off on that one yet. Ok, I'm broke, but even still, I want to see more. And Cthulhu seems to always begin with QC issues. I also don't want a drip tip that's as tall as the atty with where that adaptor screws in.

not helping.... :)
You'll love it. My only complaint is the threading on the top cap. It not having AFC doesn't bother me as I never choke off the airflow on any of my attys. The amount of juice it holds is ridiculous as is the amount of build space. I think it's damn near impossible to get the wicking wrong. You'd literally have to use so much cotton/rayon/whatever that you'd completely warp the coil while pulling it through to overwick it. Underwicking is possible, I guess, but that'd be easy to troubleshoot because you'd have about 10ml of juice pouring out of the atty. The flavor surprised the crap out of me considering the amount of airflow this beastie has.
