Ohms 4 eGo?

I have non-variable voltage eGo style batteries. My concern is how low of a resistance attys can I safely use without damage to my batteries?

I recently purchased some LR Boge Cartos (2.0-2.4 ohms rated I think) and a LR atomizer (1.5 Ohms +/- .2 Ohms).

Have been using the cartos and they are awesome as far as vapor and TH, haven't used the dripping atty yet.

Am I going to ruin my only batteries with these specs?

as long as you stay at or above the 1.5ohm spec cartos you will be fine. the lower ohm cartos may reduce the time between charges very slightly but wont harm the battery.

I started vaping with a DCT tank with a 1.5ohm carto and an ego battery. So, no you won't hurt the battery, but it may not last as long between charges.

You're good to go at those resistances. You'll see some variability in terms of battery life between them, but nothing harmful to your battery should happen.

I'd just stick to 1.5 ohm for fixed voltage eGos. Last year I bought some high resistance cartos, because all the l.r. were sold out. It held me over for a while, but I noticed a big not so good difference.

That's what you're supposed to use on fixed voltage eGos. You'll get the best performance out of 1.5 ohms on a fixed eGo.

Thanks everyone! I was hoping all was well. My kit was an eGo tank kit, with changeable 2.5 ohm attys. The lower resistance cartos offer a much more satisfying vape.

I'm still new but learning every day. Smoke free for 23 days now!!

The max current the eGo battery can draw is 3 Amps. With your 1.5 ohm atomizer, you wouldn't want to fire it any more than at 4.5 volts. This is provided your eGo is a twist and go that high. If it's not, it should be firing around 3.7 volts, and in that case you should be in the clear for most off the shelf cartos/atomizers.

no your absolutely fine. As a matter of fact, 1.8 is my favorite resistance to use on my egos
