If your ohms are dropping like that you probably have a short. make sure your coils aren't touching anything but the + and - posts. If you are getting a constant .5 or .6 you should be ok depending on what type of battery you are using. Keep checking it to make sure you don't have a short and please post the details of your battery.

No, that's not a short. If you have the green 2100mah sony battery it has a 30amp rating which will be safer to run on sub ohm builds. For example your current coil is going to draw 7.4 - 8.4 amps when your battery is fully charged. Your battery (if its the one i'm thinking of) can handle that without stress. If this is your first rebuildable I would suggest 0.8 - 1.0 builds and you wont have to worry about stressing the battery.

I just got my hands on a Nimbus as well and right now my sweet spot is 5/4 wrap 28g kanthal single coil cotton wick reading at .92 ohm. Drilled the airflow to 3/32 and it's become my favorite atty thus far.

EDIT: I think the harshness is coming from the lower ohm does you vapor feel hot? My first coil on nimbus was 1.5 ohm and it was a lot cooler and had almost no harshness to it. I like a little bit of warmth in my vapor and my current built has a throat hit that feels like a punch opposed to the flick the 1.5 had

Not to insult you, but are you sure you know what you're doing with that thing? Frankly, if you can't tell us what amp draw you're pulling from your batteries or the precise kinds of batteries you have (or, that you're not asking this question in the RDA section), you probably shouldn't be messing around with sub-ohm. Depending on your battery, .3ish ohms could be a downright dangerous situation.

Please read (at least!) this if you're not sure. You can have serious safety issues if you just willy-nilly about a mech, an RDA and a sub ohm build, and by the sounds of it, you could be putting a battery "bomb" near your face. I just want you to be safe. I would definitely encourage you to get good at building 1+ ohm coils before you even start messing around with sub ohm.

Sorry to be a hard on you, but if people get hurt doing this, it's going to cause serious problems for all of us.

you could have been a lot more harsh my friend I appreciate the help. drawing at 8amps, around there, but yea I scrapped it and shooting for a 1+omh single coil. but to be ABSOLUTELY FAIR, just got my set up in the mail and was happier then a kid in the candy store, had to give it a shot but by the looks and sounds its the ecig that almost shot me lol. I appreciate the stern yet insightful words bud. will definitely do things safer from now on. and in all fairness its good that I atleast went out of my way to get this ohms reader, I know a lot of ppl who started building with no anything to read ohms or even voltage or ampage drop
