Ohms in coil are slowly dropping

ok so yesterday i was messing with the vivi nova and accidentally shorted the coil and destroyed it. so i carefully took it apart and unwrapped the coil and rebuilt it and when it was all done it came out to a 2Ω coil. so last night on my vv mod the coil read as 1.9Ω
so today i just checked the coil on my vv mod and it is now reading 1.7Ω i am vaping it at about 4-4.5 watts so why would the coil slowly start dropping in the ohm reading. is this a bad sign that it might die? any help or is this normal?

just watch it for a while more,
if still tastes the same there should not be any reasons to go down to 0/zero.

Sometimes the ohms will drop a little as the coils seats itself better. 0.1-0.2 is what I usually see during this process. It is also possible that the coil shifted a little and the negative end of the coil is now touching the side of the head at the last coil. This isn't really a problem as long as the other end doesn't short, it just cuts the resistance of the legs of that end out of the total. As long as the resistance doesn't get crazy low I wouldn't worry to much about it personally.

thanks i was just wondering about that because since last night after vaping it it has dropped 0.3 ohm but hey at least it fixed the wicking problem in the vivi and also with the lower ohm and the nice coil i made it is making more vape. so i guess it worked out.
