Depends on the meter, but often. You have to know how to set the meter of course. Multimeter means multiple different measurements. You’ve got to pick the right one.

The first coils I made I used a multimeter, with alligator clips.

Yes, if you know how to use one. I used a digital multi-meter to test atomizer resistance for a couple years.

Yeah, I kind of figured that but its easier to use the meter if your making numerouse coils at the same time.

Haha, right. Im a mechanic so I hope I know how to use one. But then again......

I don't wrap or use coils anymore, but when I did I used a Fluke to check them sometimes (and a Zapper V2 for NR-R-NR ready wires I made for some specific atty's). Later a newer Fluke took the lead, but it is rarely used since I stopped making coils going on two years ago. I only use mesh atty's now days.
