It's been one year into vaping for me and my wife, and there is still so much to learn!

We haven't made the leap into mods, and building our own coils yet. Right now, we are both still using Vision Spinners with Protank 2's. Occasionally, we bust out our Protank Mini 3's.

Since our Spinners will run between 3.3 and 4.8 volts, and we have the options of 1.5, 1.8, 2.2, and 2.5 ohm coils, which combination will yield the most vapor (for me)? And which will yield the most flavor/throat hit (for my wife)?

Different juices will require different settings. I find my fruity flavors require lower power to taste right to me while my heavier, darker juices require higher power for a warmer vape to bring out the flavor. Just do what ProjektMayhem suggests and you'll do fine no matter what ohm you choose.

BTW, when you get ready IF you want to start rebuilding coils, you might want to first start simply by just rewicking your store bought coils with cotton or cellu cotton = 100% rayon (gotten at Sally's Beauty Supply) to get comfortable first with just opening up the atomizer and learning how much to wick. There is a thread here on rebuilding ProTank coils. I still use ProTank 2's with my own rebuilt coils and cellu cotton as well as the Aspire Nautilus with the BVC coils.

Some people don't have the time or inclination to get into rebuilding or learning about ohms, batteries and such and that is just fine! Find your convenient happy place and vape away.

I saw this chart on line and found it helpful. I made it into a paint file so I can go back to it when I need to. I went to purchase tank heads and it asked me for resistance. I'm like "Resistance? WTHeck is resistance?" So, the search began. I found this chart to be simple. I don't know about all the nuances of different blends and flavors. But, maybe, this is a starting point. I hope this is helpful :)

The chart is a basic rule of themb but a good starting point. I build most of my coils for my PT2's (w/AFC), Taifun and eXpromizer at 1.5 ohms with 28ga wire. The flavor and and vapor is best at 11.1 watts and the chart says that temp is to high. I'm a little OCD so I've built my own chart in excel tracking the topper, wire, ohms and wattage. Start low and work your way up until you find your sweet spot.

Yeah, I'm beginning to see that. I have a spinner that I like on 4.8V. But I haven't ventured into the world of flavors other than tobacco. When I do, I'll play with the settings more. I'm still researching who makes what good flavor.
