Ok I will try to be as layman like as possible in this post.

The Infinity is a LOW CURRENT , Hi resistance ( Ohms ) higher Voltage device ( the Buzz is a higher current unit )
It likes regular attys and cartoz ( 2.8 ohms and above ) the design has limitations using LR attys etc.

This is a design parameter that we had to adhere to in order to pack this into a small package like the Infinity .

With VV you do not NEED or want to use LR attys , they suck up current and will overstress the batteries and lower the usable charge time .

By using a higher resistance atty you 1. Increase battery charge life 2. lower current 3. increase the voltage .

We have control over the voltage we do NOT need to change the atty resistance from the OLD standard 3 ohm;s atty ( yes 80% of attys are still 3 ohms or so ) and most companies sell all kinds in this range.
The LR atty has been a stopgap measure to increase power and TH for us ( the old 901 stock did not cut it right ? ) , that time is OVER using VV .

Look at the chart attached , our IC has a 2 amp MAX current limit ( we need to stay under that ! )
with a 2 ohm atty it goes well beyond that limit with a 3 ohm atty we are ALL GOOD !

Simple as PIE , IF you use a LR atty on the Infinity IT WILL CUT OUT on you to protect itself

We are now sending instruction manuals with each order and a battery warning about installing them backwards ( DO NOT install them backwards , the Infinity does not have reverse battery protection and it will kill the IC )

One last thing a battery is a CURRENT STORAGE DEVICE ( they have a relatively stable voltage and are rated as 3.7 volt or 3.0 volt this is their nominal voltage ) , it stores a charge and that has a capacity ( Mah ) , useing LOWER current only makes sense in this situation.

A LR atty uses MORE current hence a shorter charge life or vape time.

anyhow feel free to ask any questions and we will do our best to answer them for you in plain english

To be honest it did not even cross my mind until it happened a few times , then I checked the spec sheet and guess what ??? no reverse battery protection on this IC ! ( I could have sworn it did have it ? ) like I said we are looking into a way to add it into future units to eliminate the possibility .
