Between 2 and 3. A genuine Joye atty will be about 2.2ish and Boge SR Carto 3ish.

For an eGo I would go for the 2.0 ohm. It's a great vape

Maybe it's not the ohms of your Carto/Atty?

Maybe you need Higher mg e-Liquid?

Why does everyone sell 1.5 LR cartos and always say "works great with ego batteries"? I agree with you, I'm just wondering why they would advertise such things that are really close to the 'melting point' of a product
