Oily tasting ejuice

Can anyone tell me what is wrong with my juice, It will taste great in an 808 cartomizer but when I put it in the Echo or Echo-e it has an oily taste to it. It is 18mg 80/20. Could it be the Echo's aren't broke in yet? Strange it being great tasting in one and not the other. Thanks for any thoughts on this.

I am not that familiar with the Echo, but is it possible that there was a primer liquid in the atomizer?

That would cause an oily, nasty taste.
