So its been almost 2 months of vaping for me and now my tastes are going crazy! I started out dripping and loved it, I also have echo-e cartomizers, ego-t type b system and blus for different situations. It started with being unable to taste my liquids at all while dripping, that would come and go, and now since the last week all my juices have taste but it is terrible tasting and makes me sick. The only way I can taste flavor from my juices is to use my ego-t or the echo-e, and I don't enjoy using those as all day vape for other reasons. I have tried 4 different atomizers while dripping and they all taste the same... what is going on? Is this normal or is there something wrong with my setup?

Stormiefury is right. The vapor comes from our bodies and not the juice. PG and more so VG "trap" the moisture in our mouth, throat and lungs and thus the vapor. Dehydration is an issue with new vapers. I drink 2 large glasses in the a.m. and 2 liters per day. As a Vet once stated "drink like you're a camel preparing to cross the desert" and hopefully this issue will be resolved.
Good Luck, Vapoor.

I found that as my vaping journey progressed, my tastes became more demanding. At the beginning, any eliquid would do but probably because my taste buds were pretty dulled from all those years of smoking analogs! Now that my taste buds are back full-force, I find that I want more complex juices and won't settle for 'meh' tasting juices or juices that have a strong chemical taste or smell. Also, I opt for extra flavour where offered!

It is fairly normal. After all this time, my taste buds still go bonkers from time to time. When this happens, I will usually vape some menthol for a day or so then go back to my normal flavors. The menthol seems to get my buds back in line, for whatever reason.

well good to hear its not just me, unfortunately I dont have any menthol e-juice. That makes sense though when I used to smoke analogs every now and then I would get tired of regular cigs and smoke menthol for a while to change it up and when I came back to regular they tasted awesome. I will have to acquire some menthol juice and give that a try. I have been drinking water pretty well but I guess I could always drink more.

At one point in my 3rd? week I had to use double flavored juices.

Good Luck, Vapoor.

PG, since it is a humectant, does extract some moisture from our mucous membranes, but the vapor occurs when the liquid is heated, not when it contacts mucous membranes. Ecig juices contain about 10% distilled water. The flavorings are also water based. You can also see some thickening of the vapor on humid days when the temperature and humidity are just right. Then, it will float without dispensing itself into the air so quickly. On a dry day, it's gone in a second or two. Vaping without staying hydrated will dry out your mouth and kill the taste.

If you pop the cartridge or carto tip off the atomizer/carto right after vaping, you will see a tube filled with dense vapor.
