This (sub)forum is impossible to find, but why not: I haven't had a cigarette in 3 months. Is this a big anniversary? Do I get a prize? It doesn't feel like anything special. I don't even know when exactly it was anymore.

I've been vaping for this whole time, obviously, starting with one stray Blu disposable, then a couple of weeks of "considering" the whole idea, then the V2 kit. The day I received that kit was the day I last smoked. And then a quick succession of finding the ECF, getting KGO kit, ordering way too many juices and too few cartos (!); exploring all sorts of weird things such as clearomizers, clearo-tanks, dripping atties, carto-tanks, and so forth. Loved it all along the way.

Now I'm somewhat settled with a ProVari and mostly carto-tanks for out and about and a lot of dripping at home; vaping exclusively DIY (in spite of the many failed flavors) for a week.

So what now?

Congrats on 3 months :toast: You got to your happy spot a lot faster than me. What to do next? Maybe hop in the noob forum and help 2 new people a day that are where you were 3 months ago? Pay your knowledge forward, feel great about it and change some lives. It's an incredible hobby:) Hope this finds you vaping happy on your 3-month Vapaversary. Good for you!

Wow elf,, you've come a very long way in three short months!! I'm following the same path,, only a bit slower. V2,, Elite 808, now KGO,, and am looking at maybe an 3-power or lavatube. No DIYing yet though.. Every day you're not smoking is a great day, IMHO. Three months IS a big deal.. and every month after it too. Keep up the good work!!

I think I might be a little depressed.

You are right, it is a big deal: in my ~16 years of smoking, I had never been 3 month smoke free. So that is that.

I have been trying to help out on the new members forum, not a lot, but as much as my limited experience permits. In fact, I think I am more addicted to ECF than to vaping itself! :)

luvinit: do give some thought to a ProVari if you are actually considering a Lavatube; the only thing I think I might have whished to get instead a ProVari from where I stand now is a variable voltage Reo/Woodvil. So I'd recommend you look into these two options.

Congrats elfstone !! The months will pile up faster than you think....breathing better each day...:)

Helping out noobs is easy, tell 'em what works for you and WHY you like it...and understand they
might be looking for something different than you are from vaping.

"exploring all sorts of weird things such as clearomizers,
clearo-tanks, dripping atties, carto-tanks, and so forth"

Experience is important, and many long term vapers have found their
sweet-spot, and not trying all the latest weird stuff.....:)

Thanks all! For some reason I didn't get subscribed to this thread and I forgot about it.

It's FOUR months today!

My go-to PV is still the ProVari, and I still can't find any fault to this wonderful device. In the meantime, I also got a Reo and some things about it, in spite of it being 3.7V, unregulated, are simply amazing. It's a perfect vape, for me, with a 1.5 Ohm debridged 306!

I still haven't given even one thought to "real" cigarettes. I still exclusively DIY, and it's getting better. Once I decided I do not, in fact, need to mix the same exact thing more than once, thing are looking good: in fact, I no longer like any of the pre-made juices! I'm playing with 2 and 3-flavor mixes now, and I'm very happy with certain subtle variations that keep things interesting. I actually wonder how I managed to smoke pretty much the same flavor all the time for all those years? In anything else, I have a very low threshold for boredom, I keep changing things all the time - so how come I wasn't getting crazy bored with the same burned taste (interesting how now 'burned taste' is the greatest pitfall to avoid, keep the atty wet, keep the carto moist, preempt dry hits at all costs, right?!)

Good luck to you all!

Hey elf... Little update of my own! I hit 5 months last Saturday. Huge, for me :) I still love my KGOs and now have four of them. Well, three now cuz one bit the dust over the weekend :(. But I also now have a lavatube. I got a great deal on the classys, so it's not the latest greatest one but it really does the trick for me. Maybe some day I'll get a provari,, but for now I'm happy with what I have. Congrats on your four months!! And continued success!
