I'd bet they made it like that for a reason....it's a company's job to protect the consumer from themselves....especially for people that don't know any better....
That's a good point, especially since most of us were stupid enough to start smoking in the first place.I'm glad someone besides the government is looking out for me.

Canadian vapors have had the luxury of trying the Lavatube (Knight Rider up here) for several weeks. If you review the Canadian thread on ECF, there are many opinions, and for the most part, positive.

Here is a comprehensive review, comparing the LavaTube (Knight Rider) vs. the Provari:

As a owner of a Silver Bullet (along with a REO), I will be purchasing the LavaTube. The price difference is too great even with the quality build difference for me to ignore the Lavatube.

Hey Vipod, glad to see you popped in to say hey. I am also happy to see you referring people to the Canadian forums. :)

I have been very busy getting a vape meet set up back home, so I've missed a bit... well a lot actually... haha

Yes I paid more for the Darwin, than I would have for a Provari. It's a different device entirely. I love my Darwin, it's great around the house, and is solid as a rock. I don't like that it limits my atty options. I have to use thin tube style atty's, unless I want to throw on a crazy long gooseneck and an addapter so I can use an eGo styly atty... how silly would that look. I definaely wouldn't be seen in public with it... I already get enough looks from people who think I'm smoking the funny stuff... LOL

This has been a great post, lots of good opinions, and no one is yelling at one another or shooting anyone down for their opinion. :) Kuddo's to one and all.

My Lava Tube is still kickin ...., about 6 weeks in now. I just picked up a Smoktech 6ml Tank Dual Coil Cartomizer, and it looks awesome on top of it. It fits almost flush size wise, and vapes like a champ. I will say this, I have NEVER liked cartos. I've always found that the taste from a carto isn't true, it always tastes better when dripping, but my NewPort Menthol tastes amazing on this unit. I've vaped nearly 18ml's of juice in the last 7 days (minus 2 cause I was sick).... so I'm giving carto's another chance. I also tried the Echo-E dual carto, and it's pretty good too. You still need to top up from time to time, which is what puts me off about cartos, but where it holds nearly 3ml of juice, it's a pretty infrequent top up. I don't care for the look of these on top of the Lava Tube though. In the end, I'll always be a dripper, there's just nothing like it, but for portability, this new Tank Carto system rocks.

I got a little off topic with this post, but just a few other thing that I wanted to point out about my experience. :)
