The ethyl malto adds sweetness and enhances flavor. The Bavarian cream and ice cream might be interesting in you mix since I think what you want is a creamier flavor instead of the fruit punch thing. I've almost got a great Pina Colada. Stay tuned! LOL

I found out I have sweet cream, but I added about .05ml to a ml juice (whoops) and it was nasty. refilled, made a 3.5ml bottle, .2 total ml flavor, plus .05ml sweet cream, 30/70 PG/VG, and it is still nasty. the sweet cream tastes burnt. Tweaking will re commence.. soon. I went through about 5 DIY recipes tonight and my tongue can't handle any more disgusting so I'm vaping vixen vapors coconut rum now. lol
Wow, you had a run of bad luck! Don't let it get you down. I made some really nasty stuff early on, but now 95% of what I make is better than all but a few vender's liquid I've tried. Look at it this way, the premade can turn out nasty too and you pay waaay more!

lol I'm good. I've made quite a few that were decent enough for me to vape the entire 3ml bottle of - mostly fruity, did make a chocolate mint that was good! This peanut butter I've been trying to use tho.. is like worthless. I have used half of the bottle in various juices to no avail. at one point I had used about 35% flavoring of just peanut butter (slowly working up to it, not all at once), and NOTHING. couldn't taste a damn thing but a hint of bitter taste. mixed at 8% flavoring with like 2% banana, still taste the sludge of nothing but bitter hint from the peanut butter, and a teeny hint of banana.
THIS is what makes me the saddest. I LOVE peanut butter in real life, love love love it, and I had a premade from bombay that was really yummy, but the peanut butter flavoring I have is just not going anywhere. I ordered one from another vendor, hoping maybe I'll get my peanut butter fix lol
Just a thought, but pay close attention to what you are eating/drinking when you vape certain flavors. I have a vape that I really adore that suddenly has this amazing chocolate taste when I drink red wine! If I eat something really spicy, the same flavor has no taste at all!

I've had several, both homebrew and purchased that I didn't like...then went back to them after they had rested a bit and they tasted totally different. And yes, as 36tinybells said, what you are eating, drinking, vaping can effect taste. Some days nothing taste right to me, so I pull out the peppermint/menthol stuff!
I'm a great cook, but I still have a lot to learn about this stuff. It's an art. Incidentally, Dawn has posted a few recipes here. Maybe if you ask she'll give you some hints on peanut butter. That is one I didn't order, so no ideas, but if you do come up with the ultimate peanut butter cup blend I'd love to hear it!
