Sorry to hear about your Halo experience, I've never purchased from them but I've always heard good things. From the sound of the initial response you got, it seems that something you said in your email/phone call the owner took as abrasive or rude and subsequently determined you were just looking for hand outs. In these times, and especially in this business, there is no shortage of stick-up-the-... customers thinking they're entitled to hand outs and freebies if they complain. So in the owners defense he/she probably just assumed you were one such person and gave you the stonewall. Such is life at times, let it go and just take your money elsewhere. Oh well, their loss right?
Just let this experience be a lesson in
always buying the smallest size available to try out liquids first. As you continue
vaping no matter how many times a liquid is reviewed as the second coming of jesus christ in juice form, there is still the very real possibility that you're going to hate it. Even in my short time with this hobby I've already accumulated about $30 worth of juice that came highly recommended on here but I absolutely hate and would sooner smoke a real cig than vape that garbage again. It's just the way this hobby goes... try and try again.
As for some good menthols... check out Bluemist Hypermint, Backwoods Brew Menthol Tobacco, or Joogler Juice Chill. All three of those are excellent menthols by my taste. Backwoods allows you to pick your menthol strength as well so that may offer you a bit more customization. For a point of reference I used to smoke Parliament Menthol Lights.
Stick with it, and just continue trying out various juices and vendors in search of your favs. Good luck in your journey Petey!
