Ok, can someone just widen the cone already?

I'm using an eGo and also an e-power with either a ce3 or a sapphire from GV. I like both of these disposable tank like systems, the problem is that the cone does not fit over them because the plastic tube is thicker than when they originally designed these devices. If I'm not mistaken, some of the new ce2 have this thicker diameter as well.

GV's site states that they are making a modified cone available but I've not seen it yet.

All it would take is like just a slight widening of the hole. Can't one of the manufacturers recognize this and solve our problem?

I'm sure you can get bigger cones for these you know... called 'big bores' or something like that? i don't own one myself and whilst it does and can look a little silly, i simply vape my ego alikes with the cone off for things that don't fit.

If you've got something to cut the cone with you can shorten it so that the opening is wider. I did mine with a dremel and cutting wheel.

Dremel + cutoff wheel = done. Okay, not very pretty, but functional.

Yup. I used to own one before I lost it in a river. The 901 cones are great and fit cartos perfectly. But I agree, it's about time the standard eGo cones be made wider by the manufacturer.

Just apply the one end to the side of a grinding wheel. Slight pressure, go slow and test for fit often.

KGO Cones i used them on my ego with flux delux so itll work on your ce3 perfect

Take a dowell a little bigger around than the small end of the cone. Sharpen one end of the dowell in a pencil sharpener. Tap it in the small end of the cone with a tack hammer.

That is also a good method to round out bent attys.

I would like it if someone made a longer cone so it would cover up a clear dual coil for the most part.

FS eGo cones are also slightly larger than Joye eGo coins... they fit loosly over Boge 510 LR Cartomizers whereas the Joye is a very tight fit and draws hard. See MyPVShop.com to buy them alone. -- Skip

I bought the Big Bore cones for the ePower and they're still too small for the XL Dual Coil Cartos on an eGo. I guess I could get someone to cut them down for me though. Great tip!
