I was going to just pick up some food grade PG. But I'm not exactly sure WHAT I'm looking for or WHERE I will find it... can someone please help ?
So the local farm supply shop should have it!! COOL
Except if you buy it at the farm supply, it would be very cheap (about $5 a gallon) but would not be approved for human consumption. It is sold to prevent of ketosis in dairy cattle at calving.
The farm supply stores in my part of the country carry PG USP (pharma grade) in gallon containers for $22 to $24.
I don't know a farmer that would want his calving livestock to be ingesting anything but USP medicine. Maybe Hoosier farmers are picker than others?
