I drip exclusively at home. I've found that
SmokTech Bridgeless Atomizer - Mt Baker Vapor - Electronic Cigarettes
that specific atomizer tastes best and holds juice better than the other two I have tried, both standard $5-$7 bridgeless atomizers. It's easy to use and doesn't leak as long as you DON'T overfill it, though you should use a drip shield. Also, I leave my PV "sitting up" on my desk and don't carry it around while in "dripping mode."
Depending on your device, you may need a different size shield. I use an "ego" sized shield on my devices, but all my devices are "ego" threaded.
I wouldn't start out with a rebuildable dripping atty and I've never used a 306. I get good flavor from the bridgeless 510s.
The reason I like the atomizers I linked above is that they have a tiny bit of fluff/wicking in the center and it keeps the coils wetter than the other two brands I've tried.
PS. I have six dripping attys, two from the one linked above, and four from two other vendors. I have not "popped" or ruined a single one in the month+ I've been dripping. This is 4-6 hours of dripping and chain vaping in front of the computer daily. Also, one of the ones got repurposed to my REO and so I'm using THAT (not chain vaping) for 8+ hours daily while at work. Little champions. Now that I've bragged on my attys though, one will pop tonight, bet ya a dollar.
Also, I use the ones I linked (I call them my black ones, the other four are silver) probably 2x as often as the others. Really, they work well for me.
I clean them about once a week by soaking them in everclear and then letting them air dry.
