First of all, let me say this forum is amazing. I posted in the classifieds asking if anyone was willing to part with a Mini is a particular combo of colors (I hate blue & green). I got a response super fast from Hoppyy, who was amazing to buy from BTW. Thanks Hoppyy! I promise to give it a good home
I'd decided I wanted one for a few reasons- I realized one of the juices I particularly like is a carto-killer... just murders them dead in around day, it's just too thick and sweet. (And once it goes bad in a carto, bad isn't even the *word*- gag!) and honestly the sheer quantity of cartos laying around was getting kind of irritating and I haven't even been vaping that long. Plus dripping is a PITA, especially on the go. As soon as I'd *finally* figured out how to drip, it really is the best tasting (yet ridiculously fussy) method, so I wanted something that tasted like dripping but was less obnoxious... so that was the line of thinking that lead straight to a Reo mini, lol. Not to mention that I'm afraid I'm going to have to go to mostly VG as even 70PG/30VG is making me itch like a rabid monkey, and cartos suck with higher VG. (The 60VG/40PG seems fine so far thank god!)
I just got it in the mail today from him and wow. It's really as good as the hype! It's like... all the good things about dripping sans the unpleasant fiddliness of actually having to drip.
And, it looks like it's klutz-proof. That would be me, BTW- I am really excellent at breaking things if they are breakable- my iPhone 4 is wrapped up in practically a mummy-case of plastic and rubber, luckily for it, since I've bounced it off the concrete about a dozen times. My Kindle likewise, after dropping and breaking four of 'em. And my engagement ring, I had to seriously put a majorly indestructible setting on that... since I whack it on things pretty much every day and ruined a 100 year old antique setting in about three months
...
So, anyway, my point is- I swear I have one- the Reo is amazing. I'm sure I'm preaching to the choir here, but I'm in love!
I also really like that the battery is replaceable. I like that it's not intended to be disposable after a few months like I am pretty sure that, say, my eGo is. Mine is 2nd hand and it looks great, barely any evidence of use and I'm sure Hoppyy used it since one of the bottles smelled faintly of Gorilla juice
And even I can figure out how to squonk it properly. That's proof it's quite user friendly!
The red is gorgeous. So much deeper and prettier in person than I was expecting from the pics on the ReosMods site (those have an orangey cast) but IRL it's a lovely almost wine-red that I actually wear as a lipstick color fairly frequently.
Anyway, I'm officially impressed and trying to convince myself not to stalk the site when they release more tomorrow... I really don't *need*
another! I'm so glad I didn't spend $ on a plastic bottom feeder that doubtless I'd break quickly.
One question though, if anyone's made it this far
- has anyone been pulled over for using their Reo while driving? My husband thinks it screams "paraphernalia" and is afraid to let me vape it in the car for fear of getting pulled over.
