Best for new reo owner?

I originally thought of Sergeant Carter when I thought of Rob taking the top off to LP' atize this Reo.{the one on the right} So I was going to call him Sarge.
Since I miss James Dean so, I have decided instead to call him RWAC, which stands for Rebel With A Cause, in a sort of reference to the movie.

Uggh..it is an Odin. I have been too busy and maybe a little intimidated to build it yet. I will let you know when I do. I hear it is awesome.
Today I built an LP RM2 on him. With Nicoticket CLS...it tastes wonderful!

Fun with Reos near midnight

Good morning Reonauts. Here is an update. Madame 'Oer and I have parted ways. As soon as she left I regretted losing her. I got to thinking about all those other attys I have not built or tried yet. The Odin, the Atomic, and the CLT.
So there is a new family member on the way. I have been moving away from all things brass, and want to stick with SS. I didn't care for the taste, and then there are differences of opinion as to whether the brass is a concern at all. Some say it's negligible. But to me why go there at all.
I am getting the Reo I wanted since noticing them, an LP TRA Grand. This one will arrive with a purple metallic door, as I had already just purchased a TRA door a week or so ago.So I can play around with different looks.
I still have RWAC. I just put the last pre-made coil that rattlerX sent on my RM2 yesterday.
I have learned that cleaning them from top to bottom is a breeze and a snap. I can have it all cleaned out, re-burn the coil, re-wick it and up and vaping in less than ten minutes now.

Yes, paid for yesterday. I did not see the notice. I must have slipped under the wire. We did the deed off site anyway, due to my request for a different door.

I got my bits and bobs order in last week so I'm glad that got in before this happened. Just some parts, and a nice brass RM2 for my Woodvils. But once that brass RM2 came back in stock I really wanted to get that. It's been on my order bucket list for too long.

Short term, Rob can still do some nefarious deeds using PayPal - with no mention of certain things being purchased.

That atty page makes me crazy. I swear it is haunted. I will see a certain one, go back later and it's not there on either page. Leave and come back or refresh the page and it's there again, but maybe in a new spot.

You're right - it is acting hinky. What I found: There are, I think, 24 atty products. If you have the site set to the default of 'display 20 items per page' that's when it screws up. (Like one of the RM5's - in charcoal - displaying twice and dropping one of the RM2's in the process.) If you change the display drop box to display 25 items or more per page it clears it up.

I e-mailed Rob about it but don't know if they looked into it.

Ok so what are the tricks to keeping the kanthal wire from unwinding off the roll like a coiled snake?

I use a hair tie to keep the wire on the spool. I do not pre-cut wire before wrapping coils. This sort of lets me apply more tension while wrapping, my noobie coils seem to stay tight and perform better.

I just cut a small piece of styrofoam and stuff it in the spool.

Any high density foam the right size will hold the wire, a piece of sponge, kitchen tuffy, Scotchbright, loofah, rubber weather stripping, even a wad of paper, etc. Whatever can be stuffed in tight enough, easily removed and restuffed.

Each one of my spools are in it's own ziplock sandwich bag and I use a small piece of duct tape to tape the end down to the plastic part of the spool. Works like a charm
