ok, I'm biting the bullet here and buying a VV (ego C Twist)

How "right" do you want it to look? Here's a pic of mine.
They're both 650mAh twists, the one on the right looks longer because of perspective distortion.
The one on the left is a vivi nova (sold as 3.5ml capacity, YMMV) with a curvey thread skirt, the right is a mini vivi nova (sold with 2.5ml capacity, IIRC, YMMV) with the straight thread skirt with some drip tips I had lying around.
If I were buying today, I might get a Vision Spinner instead it should be about the same internally (reportedly the same battery manufacturer, at least) but it has a "better" adjustment knob easier to see your settings. Plus the Spinner comes in a 1300mAh version that's a bit fatter around instead of just being longer. Gotvapes and Madvapes seem to sell the Spinners, and even though Vapage was trying to say they'd have an exclusive on the 1300mAh version, madvapes is already selling them. Unfortunately, no reviews are out yet so, I have no idea if they perform as well. I'll probably figure it out on my own soon enough.

With the Vision clearomizer, the sleeve is part of the clearomizer, so no need to buy anything additional. Trying to paste a picture below, let's see if it works, still new to the forum.

These are great but they do break (that top silver collar can break right off when dropped or banged around, or thrown in my purse and something else bumps it.) They can be rinsed and dryburned and last a long time (for me) as long as I don't break them (I'll call it user error LOL). Some ejuices cause an etching inside and they aren't so "clear" anymore too but they still vape ok. Mine are the 1.6 ml size so the juice lasts fairly long. Next I'll try those Vivi Nova's everyone keeps mentioning because they hold more liquid.
On the other hand, I've never broken an ego-T tank atomizer/cartridge setup on my ego twist even after dropping and getting banged around. I do have to dial up my twist with these because ego-T's give muted flavor IMO. They don't have a great "look" though LOL.
