I spent several hours tonight shopping on Health Cabin, I had almost $300 worth of items in my cart and was nearly done shopping. I added a few more items, the shopping cart comes up with ONLY those last few items in it.

Well, I had a notepad document running along side and says to myself, "These things happen, it will be easier since you've got a list of what you'd planned to buy", sez I.

So, I go back and try to re-enter my LOST shopping cart, I get 3/4ths through, and it happens again! I've lost 2 or 3 hours of MY time and even though their prices are good, I don't think I'll be back.

I'm no nube to online buying, I've been doing it for a decade or more. This sucks.

are you doing anything or have a program running that deletes your browsers cookies? If you are not logged into your healthcabin account and you delete the cookie it will wipe out your shopping cart back to empty.

try logging into your healthcabin account then adding items to your cart. This is what I do and they will stay in my cart for days/weeks, even when I change computers(work and home).

Always log in first and it saves your stuff. If you're doing that and still having that problem, then :censored:

I am very sorry for the trouble which wasted your time and effort. we hate that.

we will look into the issue and find out what caused it.

to help us find out the reason, could you mind telling me whether you logged into our account before shopping?

thanks a lot. :)

if you did, please email your order to sales@healthcabin.net and we will take good care of it manually.

I finally got my order to go through tonight. Yeah, I tried again.

It seems to me that the problems arose whenever I tried to select more than one item from a listing, as the site would seem to allow. Where you can enter the quantity desired in a list of similar items, then at the bottom of the page add those selections to your shopping cart. Each time I tried that my cart was wiped clean, except for the latest selections.

Tonight, I went to each item's description before selecting them.

Big order by my standards, thanks for the 15% code (yeah, that big). I'm crossing my fingers for delivery before I leave on vacation. :)

I'm departing before delivery time on the 15th. I know, that's only two weeks. Seems longer than that when you're counting down the days to vacation though, LOL.

I wish I could append the thread's subject line.

Delivery was attempted yesterday for my order which was placed on 9/1/2010. That's nine days between (successful) order placement and (attempted) delivery. Not too shabby on the delivery time from China. :)

I wasn't home at the time of the delivery attempt, and a signature is required. So, I won't be able to pick up my package until Moanday morning. Still, I will at least be able to receive it before my trip out of town. :)

Thanks for the prompt shipment. I'm still wary of placing large orders on your site though. I won't attempt to place multiple items in the cart from a list again.

Actually, I've had the Health Cabin site log me out of my account if I don't do anything for a bit, sometimes it seems it will even log me out while I am looking at other items on the site, but don't add anything new to my cart for a while.

I use Google Chrome as my browser, have no idea if that is part of the problem or not.

One good thing is that whatever was in my cart up to the point it automatically logs me out is still in the cart when I log back in.

Thank you for your telling me the problem with using our site on Google Chrome.

we have never tested our site on google chrome. could you try other browsers and see whether the same problem will happen again?

thanks. :)

No way. MSIE is only for getting Windows updates. Frankly, if it is a Firefox compatibility problem, then it is your problem and it should be fixed.

Suggesting MSIE for the problem is like suggesting I drive a Yugo because the traffic signal was broken.

I don't think Firefox is the problem. I have not had a similar problem ordering from any other sites, and I do quite a lot of online purchases. When I order from your site again, I will not use the list selection, as I've already stated. That's where the problem showed itself.

As I've already noted, earlier in this thread, it could also be that my computer was in despirate need of a fresh reboot. I max out its capabilities often, and sometimes go a week or two without a re-start. That can make weird things happen.

In any case, I apologize for the thread's title. I was pretty frustrated when I started the thread.

Thought I'd post in here rather than creating a new thread.

I've been having this same problem for the last two days. It's not a very big order so it's more of an annoyance. I've tried using the visitor cart, my account cart, going into the item page before adding to the cart, and nothing seems to work. Worse yet the glitch seems completely random. Sometimes it happens every time I add something to the cart, another time I had almost all my items in the cart before it deleted them =/

Any help would be greatly appreciated =)

Thank you for your asking here.

We've had several people try to duplicate it without any luck. could you provide information about operating system, browser, and cookie settings, so that we can look into them and offer more help? :)
