Oooooh okay, you want to order from NFN. Gotcha. Well, it does say that they're direct from VaporMoon and that "With the new high powered 5 amp circuitry built in, it is virtually impossible to burn out your saber touch" so I'm assuming it's the new model. You might want to send them a quick message here: NicFitNation.com - Canadian supplier of e-cig kits, parts, accessories, and e-liquids - Contact Us
If it were me though, I would just order direct from VaporMoon. There is no way that your package will go awry, I can basically guarantee you get it. Really. There is no law or rule against sending/receiving vaping products in CanadaThe reason I would buy direct is because NFN only has them in black, on VaporMoon you can customize your entire PV. You get to choose your threads (showing or not), end caps (including colour and style), you can get the VV option, the High Power option, etc. Best of all you get to choose your colour. You can get the VV Saber at VaporMoon for $10 cheaper than the plain ol' 5volt regulated at NFN.
Just my opinion![]()
ChellyNelly always gives great advice. You should believe what she tells you. You won't ever know about customs yourself until you actually try it.....
I've only ever used USPS and it seems to be the consensus of most Canadians that receive a lot of US packages that USPS is the way to go. UPS dings you with taxes/duties more frequently. I can say that USPS has always been very reliable for me. It's understandable that as a new vaper you're worried about Customs. Hell, I was worried at first too! However, in the dozens of packages I've received from the US, only one ever got stopped at Customs. When this happens they just send you a letter saying what it was and why they took it, and then they return the package to the sender. From there, the sender can either re-ship or refund (usually re-ships without issues). The one thing that went awry for me was just a prize anyway so it wasn't a biggie for me, and I ended up getting a free custom kit for my misfortune.
I think you would be pleasantly surprised. I love saving money and the two major ways I do that in vaping is buying from Canvape, the US, and the classifieds
Thanks AuroraI'm blushing
hehehe. I hope you're doing well

I have a few different devicesI've got a mini lavatube, a Buzz Pro, a Diamond mod (from Parkes Vaping), an eGo LCD, and a Lavatube V1.5 (which I'm either going to return or upgrade to V2 because of issues with them, so it's not in use, just a paper weight lol). For hardware, I use mostly cartomizer tanks. My fave tanks are the VPX Cartomator, the Sub tank from Mom & Pop Vapor shop, and the Phiniac (but you NEED the fill tool, unless you want utter frustration). I also just started into the world of rebuildable tank atomizers and bought myself an RA Tank which is working out quite nicely.
I definitely think that the Saber Touch is a great mod and you would be more than pleased with it. It has a great warranty as well and is meant to last you a lifetime. It's really a great price for what you do get. As for the Pearl PT, it looks very nice and the like, but I haven't heard much about it in terms of reviews so I can't comment on that one too much. I just use whatever PV I am vaping on at the time, and don't designate "home" PVs and "away" PVs. I do have a small cig-sized passthru though that puts out 5v and hits great, but I don't find myself using it, ever. I only paid $12 for it though, so it's a nice backups backup
For quality, long lasting PVs I suggest the Saber Touch (which you're smartly already looking into), the Buzz Pro (got mine off of the classifieds for a song!), and the Silver Bullet. Those are just a few favourite selections, but they are built to last for sure.
If I am reading your location correctly, as in Toronto, Canvape is in the 400 market from what I have read, swinging by there would give you a hands on option. Also those silly Torontonianits ( or whatever they call themselves ) have a vape meet every month and one is probably coming up soon.
It is a wonderful way to meet new and fellow vapers, see all kinds of shiny stuff, and try lots of different juices.
ok ... i think for my going out pv...i will get a box mod for me and wife ,,, now trying to see who sells them here in Canada.. or do i have to go states side?... maybe the SmokeTek vv .
and as for my home unit still checking things out![]()
What's your price range and do you want VV? That will narrow it down significantly.
Ok, for VV box mods you will probably want to shop US, not much selection in Canada. I highly suggest you go to the Modders Suppliers forum here: Modder/Accessories Supplier Forum
There are TONS of awesome box mods there for sale. Wild Man Wood, Bull Box Mods, VaporWoods, Gepetto (a bit hard to get but amazing one of a kind pieces), Hog's Mods, Old Goat, etc. Awesome quality box mods, all of them.
There's Ken's Box Mods too, very popular, well built mods. Here's the VV section: Variable Volt Mods
Foxy Box Mods foxyboxmods.com - Home
Bogger Box Mods: Bogger Box Mod's
And here is a thread with a few more linkshttp://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ttom-feed-juice-box-mods-available-links.html
Sounds like you're doing great! Twists are a solid intro to VV, I think she'll be very happy with them. I'm not a huge fan of the first two versions of the stardusts but I am partial to v3. Some people love them though! Very subjective, this vaping stuffI really enjoy Boge cartos. For a VV device I would suggest standard resistance so that you have a wider range of adjustability. I have tried so many cartos and none of them seem to please me as much as the Boges. They last longer than others, work best in tanks, and the flavour and vapor is great. I mostly use carto tanks and Boges are the only carto I will use in them.
For juice, I think I suggested some earlier in the thread... Hmmm, maybe that was another thread, let me check. Ah yes, it was another thread. I am going to quote here for you because it's pretty lengthy and encompassingI talk about buying from the US, what devices I'm using currently, as well as juice.
"I can tell you that you have no need to worry about your package There is such a small chance of it getting stopped, and even if it was all they do is send you a letter to let you know what was stopped and why, and then they return the package to the sender, who then either re-ships or refunds (usually re-ship without issues). I have had dozens and dozens of packages from the US and only one ever got stopped (dunno if I mentioned that in this thread or not). So yeah, the fear mongering about Customs is really quite far from the truth. A few years ago you would have a lot more trouble, but today, it's really a very minute chance that you're taking.
I have a few different set-ups and I haven't owned the Volt myself, but I have used it and know lots of folks who have used it, and it's one of the highest quality starters you can buy (and not ridiculously overpriced like some). The set ups I'm using currently are: Buzz Pro, Diamond mod (from Parkes Vaping), Mini Lavatube, EGO LCD, and a Lavatube V1.5 that is a paperweight right now (because of issues with them I will probably be returning it). As far as hardware goes, I use mainly cartomizer tanks (VPX Cartomator, Phiniac (NEEDS fill tool unless you want to fight with it), and the Mini Sub tank from Mom & Pop Vapor Shop are my fave and most highly suggested tanks). I only use Boge cartos lately in my carto tanks because I've found I'm just not satisfied with the life and taste/vapor I get from other cartos in a tank. I use atomizers for testing juices (306 usually but I just got a Cisco Spec 510 and it's blowing a regular 510 out of the water). Just got myself into the world of rebuildable tank attys with the RA Tank. And I ocassionally use a Stardust V3 (only version I have used that doesn't crack/leak eventually).
As far as juice, I'm a total juice ...... I LOVE trying new vendors, new flavours, and I vape about a dozen different flavours a day I've tried a lot of stuff. Most people, when they begin, are interested in tobacco juices (of course). I recommend Mom & Pop Vapor Shop for tobacco juices, with faves being Tobacco Haze, Tobacco Praze, and all their RY4s. They are in the US but I have never had an issue and they have excellent prices (use coupon code ECFROCKS For 15% off). Shipping to Canada is only about $5-6 depending on how much you order. I also love Backwoods Brew, they're my go-to company. I love Hazelnut, Strawberry (I mix these 2 together), Watermelon, MelonBacco, Honey Flue Nut, Casablanca (after it steeps for like a month or two), Malty Toffee (sadly I just ran out last week ), and of course the elusive and discontinued RY4 and Ejoker. Every flavour I have tried from BWB has been a winner in my books. I also love Bounty Hunter from NiteLite Vapor though I don't think I'll ever get to try it again because they don't ship to Canada (one of the few US vendors who doesn't), and House Blend from Cooper Creek I love with a passion but had to give up because it killed my cartos too quick.
To be honest, most of the juice I order is from the US. I don't often order juice in Canada. BUT I have tried juice from almost every Canadian vendor (I do a lot of trading and buying from members, also contest wins). Jugheads is fantastic, I love their Swdish Pastry, RazzleBerry, Roll'eez, and JokeSmoke 2.0. Planet Vapes is excellent for fruity flavours."
