I have been using my inferno set since I started this journey 41/2 mos. ago. Today I went and I bought a lava tube. So far I am loving this thing. Better taste and better hits. So vets what do I really need to know about this? is it as good as I think it is? And did I get a better set up then I had with the inferno? HELP me please... Thanks...

well....if you are getting better taste, and better hits, i would assume by you saying this that you are more satisfied with the lavatube vs. your old inferno setup, all that being said, i'm going to say you have a better set up, as everything is always a matter of personal opinion with vaping...much like most of the former smokers had a preferred brand of cigarettes, most of us will find a preferred setup, with a preference for voltage, ohms, watts, and juice....but as for me making a determining statement as to which unit would be better....i couldn't say personally, as i own neither of the units nor do i wish to make a statement that would sound rediculous as you are clearly getting a better experience from your new setup....if you're still with me at this point, enjoy what makes you happy....and happy vaping to you, welcome to ECF!

What Bacc.vap said. The inferno was a fixed voltage device similar to an eGo or Riva. The Lavatube is variable voltage, allowing you to tailor the vape to the juice and atomizer you are using. 3 ohm attys let you experience a wider range of voltages. 2 ohm and lower restrict you to the lower range in voltage and raising it too far with low resistance atomizers and cartomizers will exceed the amperage rating of the Lavatube.

Enjoy it! It's a good ecig. Keep the Inferno for backup. We all need one.

Yes yes and yes. You have stepped up significantly. Your only limitations are dual coils. The LT wont work very well with them I really like using 4.5 oHm carts on mine with or with out a tank. But now you can change your voltage to what suits your taste buds The LT is a good first VV Mod because it automatically steps back the voltage depending on what resistance accessory your using. Its hard to pop attys or over heat stuff. You may be happy just with that or you might get the bug and want to climb the ladder to the better Mods.
If you decide to up grade Id suggest going with an American made one much better quality.
But you have a good solid Mod

Thanks for the welcome... And I never looked at it from that point of view so thanks for that also...

it's no issue, also what others have said in the thread have pointed out to you what may have just confirmed what you may have been thinking, but rest assured: yes, it's really that good lol.
