Ok so are they flat top or button top?

I can't find an answer to my question. I'd like to know if the smok vmax takes button top or flat top batteries. The ones that came with it look flat. Not like a button on a regular size D, or C cell battery. They have a small indent on the top, but nothing protruding out like a button. I'm trying to include a pic of them so PLEASE HELP. I ordered a set of flat top for my vmax. I'm still a noob so excuse my ignorance please. I'm just trying to find out the truth. I've heard different types from different people. I'm wanting to get it right, so I don't waste anymore money.

I was worried that the flat tops I ordered for my vmax wouldn't work. The vender said they wouldn't. Well they showed up and work just fine. It seems that the version of my vmax will take either. Since I ordered two more sets that gives me three total sets for my apv. Guess that should last a while without running out of power. Better to many than to few.

Even though the flat tops you got work, not all will. Some flat top batteries will not make a connection between the batteries when stacking.
