This question is not really intended for modders. I'm sure your expenses are thru the roof.
I'm really interested in the 'normal' ex-smoker and how it's saved you in tobacco expensive.

To be fare and honest, I'm sitting on about $225 or so for my first month. That's about $7.50 a day.
I bought extra attys, extra batteries, extra carts and a few bottles of juice the first two weeks into all this.
I should be good to go for a few months, now, I hope, which will bring my daily total down to within reason.
(3 months = $2.50 a day.)

How about you? Have you gone overboard or have you used common sense to quit tobacco??? What are your expenses so far?

Thanks for sharing,

Probably about $1000 in two years. Not bad. No mods. Only standard things like eGo, 510, etc. Also, I have about 500 ml of DIY juice at this point which will last me another 6 months.

My best advice is to only order SMALL bottles of juice until you're sure you like the flavor. This is where I wasted the most money.

Second, do NOT stock up excessively on atomizers, batteries, etc. A new, better, type of e cigarette is almost guaranteed
to come around and much of your big stock will be useless to you. Keep just enough stock to carry you through until a new order has time to arrive.

I've probably spent about $1000 since my Wife and I started vaping. Compare that to the $3500 I would have spent to keep us smoking at Massachusetts cigarette prices. No-brainer for me.

After the initial buying sprees and experiments, we're now down to a $60/month budget. That also leaves some wiggle room for trying out new flavors (I'm 100% DIY), hardware, and some stockpiling. New mods and such are now reserved for holiday gift-giving only (can't wait for Father's Day).

I'm over the $500 mark in 2 months but I promise I won't spend any more....today....in the next 20 minutes.

Gosh, I know what you mean. I've already started filling out another order for supplies... LOLOLOL
I have 3 bats, 5 attys and a dozen carts. Enough juice to last a good two months or better... I don't need ANYTHING. LOLOL

ive spent almost $800 since i quit smoking...would have spend about 600 by now in analogs. had i come to this forum before buying, i would have saved about 250....but... thats no big deal. im set with juice for about a month, maybe just a tad more....and im good with myPV's also for a while...at least today. stocked up on 3 packs of cartos and another battery (900mah) for my ego and couple packs of cartos for my BMF.

I've only been vaping for 2 weeks now and .......n I feel ya... I've spent a little over $200 in the past two weeks. About a third of that was for gear: starter kit, blank carts, blank cartomizers, replacement atomizers, etc. However I've dropped a considerable portion of that 200 on trying a bunch of different kinds of juice. Variety is the spice of life, no?

As soon as my new orders get here I'll have 26 different flavors, however outside of the 5 I've never tried, I'm only really crazy about 2 of them. Hopefully some of the Backwoods Brew flavors I ordered will be able to change that. I only really hate 3 of my current flavors but the rest are, at best, good for a few vapes a day, or just meh altogether.

When does the saving money part start again? lol jk. I figured if I just chill on the purchases I've made for 6 more weeks I'll break even with what I would of spent of cigarettes in that 8 week time period. Now if I can only contain myself for the next few weeks without going on buck wild juice buying sprees like I have been...

4 KR808-D1 batteries plus charger and case
30 blank cartomizers (I've started cleaning them now, I'd like the 20 I have left to last)
10 prefilled cartomizers (total waste of money, and I should have kept them to clean, but I didn't)
1 GoGo kit plus two adapters for 808 batteries and cartos
1 901 battery plus 2 atomizers
I don't even know how many ml of juice in dozens of flavors trying to find something I can taste and want to vape all the time

Total spent = just over $600
Time vaping = 2 weeks

More than I would have spent on smoking the last 3 months... but I don't smoke!

And IF (big, big if) I stop shopping I should break even about the end of the year

Finally find myself with no shopping carts filled anywhere and no packages in transit. Might have to unsubscribe from the deals and steals thread, though!

If you count the ticker on my sig at this point, I'm only into e-c-gs about $200. I bought alot of modding equip, DIY stuff and have been through some kits, but I can breathe, I have my sense of smell and taste back and I don't smell like an ashtray. Oh, and I have a new hobby, too!

My car hates this, because she was my attention ..... for a loooong time lol. I still love her, but she's good for now. I hope she didn't hear that.

I've been vaping for over a year, started with the standard SmokeAnyWhere RN4071, then went to Mr. Puffer, than to a POS by ****mods.com. Than got smart and went all in on an Indulgence (damn good PV, IMHO). As far as juice, I buy in bulk, at least 125ml of 100mg. That lasts me about 7 months. I don't use flavors, this keeps my atty clean and clear for a long time. Atty's, I'm a HV vaper, and I prefer an 801 from VK. I just bought 10 for about 40 bucks. I've kept detailed records, so far I've spent about $1,400.00. If you look at my sig banner, you'll notice I've still saved about $1,000.00 over analogs.

I feel better, I don't get sick hardly at all anymore. My kids actually give me longer hugs and don't mind when I kiss them nite-nite.

Bottom line; find something you like, and buy in bulk.

Anywho… To all, Good Luck! & Happy Vaper Trails!

sanjosse.
