How much have you spent on your hobby or habit if you know?

I have kept track of how much I have spent so far and so far on
PVs:489.98
Mods:118.98
juice:412.43

Meaning that my little ticker at the bottom that shows just how much I have saved from not smoking is not correct lol not even close...I have to admit though I have gone a bit overboard on juice and PVs I owned 8 two took a dump earlier tonight so they will be getting replaced! I will either be buying another MVP Shine not in pink because I already own that one but in green or black...not purple the snowflakes are kinda seasonal lol. Couldn't Innokin have come up with a better design than snowflakes for God sake? I mean what were they thinking? Ok back to my original thought lol I have ADD bad oh look something shiny! How much have you spent on your habit or hobby? Or do you even know? A guesstimate would be fine too lol!

Happy Sunday and :vapor:on my friends!

About 5 years ago I added up the $8.00 a pack, (up to 2 packs a day sometimes,) that my smoking habit cost and it came to around $4,000 that year. I had a decent paying job at the time, and never thought twice about it.

Then I started vaping 2 years ago to try to cut down or quit smoking for health reasons, and found the same signature banner which shows the wrong $$ amount saved, although it does show, on average 30 cigs a day avoided.

I am healthier now and that is Priceless :p

Edit to add, I'm a juice hound too. I DIY and buy lol

over $3000 but under my smoking counter total.

but that includes a full DIY lab including storage for everything, equipment that should last nearly a lifetime, over a liter of 100mg nic in the freezer with a couple liters of flavors, tools for everything and complete supplies for 4 other vapers.

Excellent! Can I be one of the other vapers?

I have spent very little so far, at least compared to what I would've spent on cigs:

Gear: $135
Juice: $200 at the most (probably around $150-$175, but I rounded up since I don't know for sure)

Although in the next week I will be spending around $140 to get my first APV:

1. Innokin iTaste SVD (ordering tonight from VaporEngine!)
2. 2x Protank 2's and 5 replacement coils
3. 2x 18490 and 2x 18650 + a Nitecore i4 (already got these)
4. Kanthal & Ekowool wicks

Um... (fingers in ears) la la la la I'm not listening to you!

Just a quick scan of my desktop I'd have to guess at least $2,500 in the last 4 months but have some beauty gear ;-).

:toast: isn't vaping grand? or 2 grand or 3 grand... wouldn't trade my gear or my health for a truckload of tobacco stock.

I'm sure I'm in the bottom 5% of vapers here, having spent around $400 since I started this wonderful hobby three months ago.

I can't build and sell gaming PCs anymore, and until I can write something good enough to publish and earn money, I've had to keep my vaping expenditures down to a minimum. It's why I'm still using a Halo Triton rather than any of the mods that look so inviting to me. At least I got the VV battery and coils in several different resistances. This is as advanced as I've been able to go so far.

I'm proud of myself for just recently lowering my weekly vaping expenses to just under $10/week. (The cost of coils and semi-bulk MBV e-juices.)

Hopefully soon, though, a stainless Sigelei Zmax V5 will be on the horizon. :)

I thought it was...

Denial
Anger
Bargaining
Depression
Acceptance

No, wait. That's the five stages of grief. Never mind.

Well, if you grieve over the money you've spent, then maybe that would apply as well, eh?

D: "I didn't spend that much. No, I definitely didn't! Nope. That number must be wrong."

A: "Dammit, I always do this! I spend way too much! I hate myself!"

B: "Hey, if I start rebuilding my own coils out of paper clips and toilet paper, and buying e-juice in 55-gallon drums, I'd spend a lot less each week, right?"

D: "It's just hopeless. I going broke. I'll never have enough money to move outta my mom's basement."

A: "I vape, therefore I am. I'll just limit myself to ten new mods per year, and since I'll never smoke ever again, I'll be all the healthier for it. The costs are well justified, and I feel OK about them."
