You have a true classic! I would like to see the bottom and what type screw holds the spring. I would like to see the inside and the size of the tubing. Those two things should give me an idea of the age of it for you.

The Mini was the first metal REO produced. Yes, even before the Grand! They are tiny but stand tall in the power of the AW IMR 14500 at 3.7V.

The Mini....so good it spawned two revisions with the 2.0 and 2.1. It holds it name as the only Mini with the 14500!
(Hi, Tim!) ;)

The first few runs of the Mini had a hex screw. They also had a smaller diameter tube. The Grands also had the hex screw and smaller diameter tubing at first.

It is not from the first few runs.

And I must agree, get the AW IMR 600 mAh 3.7 v 14500 battery. It really will make a difference in your vape.

You could purchase and install a re-build kit. It would also boost performance. If you don't feel comfortable with the installation you can send it to reosmods and get it done!

Here is the user manual: http://www.reosmods.com/images/usermanuals/metal.pdf

I bought mine 11/17/2011. It has been the most perfectly reliable and durable device I have ever owned.. Every single time I have pushed the button, it made vapor.

I personally prefer the black and silver AW li-on 14500 over the red AW IMR 14500 for the mini, (provided the atty is ~1.5 to 1.8 ohms - lower would get me to use IMR's in it). The extra mah the li-on provides means being able to run the battery a little longer before swapping... and at ~1.5 ohms, the li-on is not at risk from too high of amp draw. Also, they are the shortest li-on 14500s I know of. They don't over-compress the spring.
