1). I have a headache, but that could be due to the heat (or that is what I am telling myself LOL), well I can't take aspirin, Tylenol, Advil or things like that because they pop me into a seizure...don't ask me why, doctors can't explain it, I don't take medication for seizures but something in painkillers will do that too me in under 8 hours. Normally I have to rub a lime across my forehead and that will take it away, but it is hard to do that when you are sitting at a poker table / at work with makeup on...can ya feel me!

2). My jaws/cheeks are sore as hell! I feel like a prostitute that just got done working a busy weekend!! Apparently I have been hitting this little drip stick a little tooooo hard, so I am learning to ease of that little baby.

3). Sore throat? Yep, the cinnamon is getting to my throat, but what do you expect when you are hitting it so hard your freakin' jaws are sore! I read in some posts on my beloved ECF that I need to drink plenty of water, which is fine by me because not only do I need it, but it let's me go potty more to take a hit HAHAHA! :p

4). Been wondering what a real analog would be like. Did you do this? Did you vape for 3-4 days and then your curiosity got working and you wondered if you really did not care to have another analog? Then I wonder if it is really whether I would care to have one or it is a withdraw symptom sneaking in on me. When this feeling hits me I reach for Big Daddy and start vaping (see #2).

I received an email from Pink Spot.com that my new juices were on their way and should be here really quick and I can't wait! I think that is going to make another big difference for me is my juice stock and I am finding out I better have what I need on hand or I am in trouble. I hope it is not like that "down to last pack" feeling when it comes to my juices, but hey....AT LEAST I HAVEN'T CAVED IN!

I just ate some soup and that has helped with the headache...going to go do some vapin. Life is good :vapor: :vapor:

1. too much nicotine or too much vaping - headache is a common symptom of over-niccing yourself. Also remember to drink fluids! Vaping can be drying. And if you are a new vaper, take some vitamins, stay hydrated, and eat well as you lose the 4000 cigarette chemicals from your system. I felt "off" for 3-4 days then was fine.

2. buy manual batteries so you don't have to drag hard - press the button in first then 1-2 seconds later drag slowly and then inhale. And if you already have manuals then try dragging slower. And you could try a drip tip as a smaller mouthpiece and don't chew on it. On any batteries you can use a drip tip as a mouthpiece on stuffing cartos - just don't drip in it. Auto battery dragging, dragging too hard, and the size of the mouth end of an ecig have annoyed new vapers' jaws before.

3. Buy decent eliquid with some VG in it. If you are using an atomizer, try 50/50 and 70pg/30vg? (the latter was enough to end my sore mouth when I started) If you are using cartomizers I prefer 80PG/20VG in those. Some VG will dull/smooth the flavor, hit and irritation while adding thicker vapor. (note - nicotine is a skin irritant. PG lets the TH and irritation and flavor through best)

4. No I don't do that. Buy more juices to try. Remember to smell the vapor. FreedomSmokeUSA Desert Ship was my stinky tobacco alike - nutty and a bit pungent, reminiscent of the scent of a freshly opened pack. For more interest add vanilla, chocolate or caramel (I used their oRYental 4 tobacco as the caramel - a sweet caramelly RY4). Some people find adding cocoa or chocolate liquid to their tobacco helps (most US ecigs have cocoa in them) but it's hard to find a chocolate/cocoa that isn't chock ful of atty/carto clogging flavoring sediment. Like FreedomSmokeUSA Cocoa premixed is excellent flavor but has tons of of sediment.

And if you are vaping food flavors, pay attention to how they make you feel. When I started vaping I discovered I could not vape food flavors - they gave me a strong analog craving as if I had just eaten. So for the first 6 weeks I had to only vape tobacco flavors or I could vape tobacco w/ a food flavor added. That led to me being able to vape food flavors alone. Other people find they do better to stay away from tobacco flavors. And some can vape any flavor when starting out. So pay attention to which flavors/aromas leave you satisfied and which do not, and for now avoid the ones that do not.

OK - done editing/adding - any of that any help?

Well, I won't comment on much of that...lol... but to the vaping related headache...

Can often be dehydration or too much nic. Also you should probably tell us your setup (what PV, what atty/carto/ohms if you know it, what mg juice?

Drink water
Cut back on nic or vaping for a while (like an hour). It's not the same as smoking, so you have to get used to the feel of the nic a little differently.

Good Luck.

Here is my PV It is called "The Bullet" but it is a 6 volt Manual, with the tank at the top with the juices and a drip tip.

These juices I have are from Vaperescence but I don't know their PG/VG mix, going to find that out. The nic level is 16mg....

Could be excess nic intake. Could be something else. But if you start to get dizzy and feel nauseous, then you definitely know you should cut back a bit.

Well there's a simile you don't hear often around here. :) At first though there's tons of novelty, so you kind of expect to be hitting it hard. I know I was at first. It takes a bit before the novelty wears off and you start to settle into more of the routine you'll naturally level off at. Don't worry about it just yet. :)

Cinnamon can do that to ya. But then so does PG and VG. Yeah, lots of water definitely helps with that. I already drink a fair bit so it's never really been a big problem for me, but at first it really did leave me with some drymouth and a bit of swelling in the throat from lack of moisture. Only at first though. It went away on its own in due course.

It's probably just curiosity. I think a lot of us tried an analog after a few days, just for the heck of it. For me, it was one week after I first started -- and it was nasty. Then two weeks after that i got to thinking, "It couldn't really have been that bad, could it?" So I lit another one. Yeah. It was that bad.

However, it could be the absence of the MAOIs in tobacco. Some people are sensitive to it and can miss it when they go all-in with vaping, getting cravings for it. It didn't have any effect on me, so I don't know exactly what such a symptom feels like and whether it equates to a craving, but I'm thinking it's probably similar if not the same.

Let me know what you think. They're on my "to try" list. :)

Try something new, slow down, I don't know if Dallas is hittin' a hundred degrees yet but here in SA it sure is. Keep yourself hydrated, the way we used to do it in the Army is with GatorAid, for every once of GatorAid you drink, drink two ounces of water. That way you also replace minerals you lose, learned that the hard way at desert training in the Mojave.

Can't add anything new as it has all been said by the elite members of this awesome forum! All I will add is that if you do cave and grab an analog, don't kick yourself for it!! It'll start the cycle all over again...if you feel bad, you'll instinctively reach for that stink stick. The heat outside is enough to dehydrate you if you are in it at all!! Double your intake of water!

It sounds as though you are very sensitive to medications and/or chemicals...the extra water will sure help. Even if you are already drinking more...drink even more than you are drinking now. It'll help flush any leftover stink stick chemicals out of your system.

Finally...hope you get feeling better quickly!

You guys and gals are the BESTEST OF THE BEST! I am over my "craving" or at least the one that was hitting me. Hopefully I won't have too many of those. I didn't reach for the stink stick, so no licking of the ash tray for me today. WHEW! I have some water going and some sweet tea...I LOVE LOVE sweet tea hee, hee. Headache has pretty much gone away I think. I am going to pickup some GatorAid on the way home tonight, got a craving for that now...thanks BardicDruid ROFL.

Geezzzz...I am really not a whiney biatch I promise! Oh a positive note, I now have 6 people ready to switch to vaping since they have seen Big Daddy, tasted Big Daddy and of course me jumping around telling them how great it is might have influenced just a bit. :rickroll: 70 analogs I would have smoked already...holy cow.....that is sick.....do you ever look at your signature and reflect on that information?

Absolutely! I think of it like a high score. "Woohoo! Eighty-five hundred points! I rock at this not-smoking game!"

Congrats on feeling better and being a one-woman crusade. :D

8500! Wonder if the analog makers felt that hit LOL.

I hope so! What I want to see happen is for Big Tobacco to feel the pinch of more people switching to E-cigs, decide to get in on the game by making E-cigs and putting pressure on Health Canada to stop being douchebags and get on board already.

I can dream. :)
