OK...This eGO with the Mega Atty

I love the 510 mega atty/mega cart combination. I like the fact that I can still use the eGo cone with them, they stick far enough above the cone to make re-filling easy, and they hold enough juice to keep me happily vaping for quite awhile with no re-filling.
I have several PVs going at one time so it gives the juice time to wick down to atty. I use Fluval for the filler. Here's how I use the Fluval:

Isn't producing vapor like my little tiny Joye510s.

The model I'm using is the USB one...and of course, since it's a new Atty...it tastes awful (even after blowing out and burning off whatever it is they package it with). I filled an empty cart...not using cartos.

I did order some stronger juices (I've been using a low nic juice...12mg) and obviously am getting something from it because I actually got light headed. So, realize, that 24 mg is too much for me to vape all day. I think I'll try that strength in the am and after dinner and then stick with the 12mg.

But...where is the mega vapor that I was expecting? Is there something I should be doing or not doing?

Don't understand your problem with the MEGA atty. I received my eGo starter kit on 11/3/10 and the only problem I had was having to refill the cartridge frequently. This was probably due to the fact the when I smoked tobacco cigarettes I was doing a little over 2 packs a day (I vape a lot).

On 11/13/10 I received my MEGA atty and blank cartridges and after about 45 min. of puffing cleared the packing goop and got massive amounts of vapor. I average 50 drips at a time with my MEGA cartridge and two of those refills lasts me an entire 24 hour period.

To me the MEGA atty and cartridge additions to my eGo saves me a lot of hassle and has been working great to date. Just ordered the 900mAh batteries to further decrease hassle. IMHO: The eGo with the MEGA atty and cartridges makes the best personal vaporizer for the initial transition from tobacco (or nicotine gum/lozenges).

That makes me think that maybe I should go ahead and get us the mega supplies. It drives me nuts having to fill so often and I will probably have to wait till february before I buy the infinity. After that it will just be my partner using the egos until I buy her an infinity.

My Mega attys (cylinder style) worked great at first. Now they produce very little vapor and flood way too easily. Tried cleaning with little improvement. Then this morning, one popped... so I ordered a bulk pack of 510's and a drip tip.

I just ordered two more Mega Attys and luv them. With the Mega Attys though, I had to learn to take slow and long draws on them. Great warm throat hit, and plenty of vapor. Even with just PG DK Juices. With the longer draws the atty will get pretty warm and I let it cool down a little before the next draw... 30 secs or so...

Confused about the mega LR attys: can't use a mega cart with them, right? and is the bridge that much bigger than a regular sized 510 LR atty that you can drip 7 drops without it flooding?

You do have to pull out the Fluval and re-fill the cart with approx. 12-16 drops of e-juice, put filler back in and top off with another 4-6 drops.

With a brand new Fluval filler, this has to be done a little sooner for the first re-fill and then maybe every hour or so with constant vaping. With the stealth vaping over Christmas, 2 PVs filled in this manner only had to be re-filled each evening and lasted for the entire week with only refilling and did not have to replace the filler at all.

For me, I am able to vape the 510 mega attys/carts combination almost dry with great vapor and taste. I do alternate PV's to give the juice a little time to flow to the atty but usually vape for quite awhile before alternating with another PV loaded with 510 mega atty/cart/Fluval combination.

Sorry you are having this challenge. The cartos do seem to last a really long time and I just don't care for the messiness of them. If they were clear and I could actually see how full they were and how empty they were getting, it would be perfect...sort of. lol
