Just got my package, fully charged the battery, and barely any vapor is coming out? what would cause this? also, thinking that the atty wasnt warm enough i puffed more, the atty got real hot, and less vapor came out.

Sounds like your atty isnt getting the juice to it. Since the atty is getting real hot I would let it cool down and put two drops of juice directly on the bridge of the atty. Double check the batting and make shure it is topped off "wet" looking and pull the batting up with a tooth pick so it is level with the top of the cart, then reinsert it so the bridge pushes the batting back making a good contact and try again. If the batting is to far down in and does not contact the bridge it will not wick producing little to no vapor while the atty gets hotter and hotter the more you vape on it. I always prime a new atty, or when changing flavors. It helps if the bridge is wet to aid in the wicking process when the wet batting come in contact with it.
Hope this gets it for you.

Another reason for your problem might not be related to your new e-cig. It could be your drag technique. Are you attempting to do it the same way as you have smoked an analog cigarette: a short, sharp puff directly into your lungs? But an e-cig, although similar in some ways, is not an analog (it’s better, but different). So some brief instruction may be in order…

Using his penstyle e-cig (with an automatic battery), joshuajamerson explains and demonstrates what you did wrong and contrasts that with the more effective way to do it:
[NOTE: If you have a manual battery, you don’t have to worry about that “fine line” he mentions. You can just press the button and drag as long as you want.]

If you like, you can do this using a British accent, as demonstrated by igetcha:
[That second “primer puff” technique is not applicable to an e-cig with a manual button. Just press the button and do what igetcha does with his first “long controlled drag” technique.]

One aspect of puffing on an e-cig that neither of them mentions is the two-phase inhale that most of us use. That long leisurely drag is not directly into your lungs (as with an analog), but into your mouth … and then inhale into your lungs.
