Well, first I've heard of it, but it sounds like fun!! If nobody's sponsoring it, who's coordinating it? This is next weekend?

Yep. Someone sent me a PM, but it appears to be all through facebook.

I read that they're going to have raffles to offset the costs. Which presents an interesting moral dilemma: Of course I want to help support the event, but what will i do if I actually win another type of mod?!?

Hopefully, I won't win one.

You it's usually pretty quiet around here on the weekends. My brother called me up to see if we were doing anything the last weekend in July as he would like to come visit from Alabama, haven't seen him in 3 years. No problem, rarely anything going on so I tell him come on over.

Since then, we have been invited to a vape meet, and weekend getaway with friends. A surprise company picnic/river float trip....all on that same weekend.

So um, no, won't be able to make it unless brother cancels at the last minute.

Wish I could make it. Sissy will be in LA and DH on the border till Sat night. I could leave Bubs for 24 hours but have to pick him up at airport. Just can't spend the $100+ for him to use valet parking at airport. (Maybe for a REO I don't "need" though or a night at The Oasis.) Give the Old Man a break about parking. He's gonna be 78yr in August. (And he hates driving the airport after running onto one of the hidden curbs, going around tight, narrow curve, busting a new tire and bending an expensive wheel out of round. Hell, everyone does it lots. I even busted a tire doing same thing. Even Sissy, a bus driver, has grazed one.)

Would love to see everyone.
