Hi Ron, I was wondering if with this new system, if you would please consider emailing people back who sent Orders into your new email and new system, including those who never got their Orders fulfilled this last time, with something possibly titled "Confirmation and/or Order Number". And just let them know their Order is now on your list and confirmed. You may want to conclude with payment information and when and how to pay. I really think that would go a long way in making people feel better, and that their Order is acknowledged. An Order number with it would keep things more Orderly. (Just an Idea)

Just received my Old Goat 3.7volt bottom feed, and it certainly proves that the size of most bottom feeders can be reduced. I have 4 REOs, 2 Phidias mods, and an Integrity from Dave's Devices in Scotland, and the Old Goat mod is considerably smaller than all of them. It took about a minute to install a 14500 battery, a 3ml bottle of juice (Butterscotch Cookie from PureVapes), an LR510 atty, and get the thing working. It vapes great & produces excellent vapor. Because of it's size, the battery & juice bottle are a tight fit, but it all works. I'm not going to get rid of my other mods, but if anyone wants a bottom feeder without spending a lot of money, I would certainly recommend the Old Goat.

Hi,
I'm considering purchasing the OldGoat 3.7v bottom feeder. I want to find out how much I need to spend to set this up together inorder to have it start working.
2 Batteries 14500 $8.00
charger $5.00
3ml bottle $1.00
510 needle assembly $7.00
Is that all I need? That the price I found on one of the site for those things. Anyone know anywhere I can get them cheaper? Thanks

Hi Pandatera Welcome! :) Two, TrustFire Protected 14500 3.7V 900mAh Lithium Batteries (2-Pack Blue) at dealextreme.com are $4.73 and everything on their site has free shipping. Because it is from China it will take a while.

Another choice is that you can get them at a 2 pack at thecustomsabershop.com for $5.64 .They are in WA USA. I would suggest buying a “Trustfire All-In-One Charger”. It charges two batteries at a time, and charges many types of batteries. I have not had to get another charger since this one for all my Vape Devices so far. Price for Charger at thecustomsaberdhop is $8.69. Shipping charges unknown.

Your Mod from Old Goat as well as most other BF Mods will come with a bottle with a needle attached or some other feed system as part of the working device and included in the price. Your Old Goat Bottom feeder is $40. If you want a lanyard it is +$5 and if you want it painted it is +$10.

OK, basic items and basic 3.7 BF OG Mod =$40
Batteries w/shipping USA about = $7
Trustfire Charger w/shipping USA about =$12
Estimated Total Cost for Basic: =$59 (Hope This Helps)

Thanks it really helped, I didn't know it will come w/ the bottle and needle. So that cuts down the budget by a bit. Trying to save up money for it.

I totally understand. I try to order from China what I can just to be able to afford a few things, problem is it takes almost 3 weeks to get anything that way. I believe I saw on this forum that Oldgoat has batteries and possibly chargers too and at reasonable prices which I did not realize before. You can sometimes get the batteries from ebay even cheaper, especially in quantities. (usually from China). :)

Remove the atty first. Other than that, just aim it.

Was wandering if anyone had some tips for inserting the bottle?

Every time I try, I feel like I'm going to break the needle assembly..
(Mind you, it doesn't feel flimsy, just don't want to break it)

Or bend the needle, any idea's?

<--- had problems with my first attempts under bad lighting. If the light isn't right you won't see the itsy bitsy black dot that represents the "dark entry hole into the tunnel". Once I saw that, it's been eazy peazy ever since. (In the wrong light, I was trying to thread the bright spot in the middle). It slips right in when it's on the dot.

Hello Sir...I've emailed you regarding purchasing a 3.7v bottom feeder (emerald green). Have not heard back from anyone. I hope everything is ok. Look forward to purchasing my first bottom feeder.

Thanks!

I am planning an order for a 3.7v bottom feeder and am wondering what the LED indicates. Is it just for looks?

Also, what batteries work with it? Since this thread addresses the 5v also I am a little unclear on this. Can regular non-rechargeable AA batteries be used in a crisis?

Ron, just wanted to let you know that I ended up gifting my 3.7 bottomfeeder to a friend who was having a meltdown over her ecigs not working properly. She's been using the typical "must look and feel like a real cigerette" units. I sent her your mod with everything else she needs to have a good vaping experience (with an LR306 atomizer). She is in heaven and she LOVES her little Old Goat Mod. Thanks so much for creating an affordable mod that just plain WORKS. My friend has found her "happy place" in the vaping world thanks to your mod.
