This will be my first mod I am wondering, can I use a 510LR with the 5 volt ? Or is that too much. I love the LR's maybe I should go with the 3.7.

No its not advised to use lr with 5 volt...it will kill the atty fast. I myself will always recommend the 3.7volt over the 5 volt.

One: There is less to go wrong with a 3.7 volt. mod because you don't need to run a voltage regulator.

Two: I think the flavor is better with 3.7 volt

Third: You are not wasting battery life with a 3.7 volt., the 5 volt is still using the whole 7.4 volts, it just wastes the 2.4 volts by turning it to heat, thats why I need to use a heat sink on the 5 volt.

Forth: I love to take long drags and with a 5 volt if you take to long of a drag you get a burnt taste.

And Lastly: It is my experance that you can get a better vape using a lr atty or carts with a 3.7 volt.

Thanks Ron Old Goat

I learned after burning out a couple of LR attys that you CAN'T use LR's on greater than 3.7 volts. So no ;5 volt will kill the LR attys but I am loving 5 volt but the 3.7 with LR is a nice vape also. It never hurts to have a back up so you may want to get both the 3.7 and a 5 volt also_One thing I know any mod you get from Ron will be made with care and top quality. He puts caring craftsmanship into his work and is'nt satisfied till his customers are.

I am so glad to have my questions answered and so looking forward to payday so I can finally put my order in. After all the reading and exploring different mods I really think this will be a great fit for me without breaking the bank.

I received a one of the first (prototype) 3.7 bottom feeders from Ron last Friday. It is a vaping workhorse. WoW. With 7 mls of juice and a 2400 mAh Batt, I'm on the third day of a great tasty vape that can hit like a truck with a 1.5 LR 510 atty. The box has a nice rubberized coating on the sides and the front and back facing was finished off with a faux carbon fiber skin. It has a nice sized (acrylic ?) catch cup that will let you vape though what could be a dreadfully flooded atty or a bunch of e juice running down the side of the mod. Oh, did I say no leaks!! Well, so far, dry as a bone. It looks industrial tough and is the type of mod I think you can throw around, take some abuse and not have to worry about it to much. I've thrown it in the cup holder & dash of my Blazer, thrown it and bounced it around in the golf cart cup holder, my shirt pocket & just wherever. Just seems like it can take a beating without a problem. It does not have a on off switch, so I would advise not to put it in your tight pants pocket without removing the atty. The only problem I've had is with my arthritic thumbs, the feed bottle was to stiff. That was solved with putting water in the bottle and putting in the microwave for about 15 - 20 seconds and "massaging" the bottle several times to soften it up. It is a very simple, no frills mod that not much can go wrong with, and if it does, it can be fixed really easy. For the bang for the $$, this is my kind of mod using the KISS method, (keep it simple) you cant go wrong.

I will be getting some pic's of this mod on the web site, there is a pic of the inside of the mod on the web site, but will be putting more on soon... I have been trying out different boxes for this mod and have found it difficult to make up my mind which box I want to use for this mod.

I like the box design I sent Lazerred, but as he said there is no on/off switch and you need to use an allen wrench to remove 4 screws to change battery and juice.

I have found a battery box that works nice and has an on/off switch and the top slides off just like the other mod we make. But it is not as bullet proof as the other box.

Both mods use the 18650 battery and holds 7.5ml's of juice, also 2-CR123 3volt batteries fit nicely for a 6 volt vape in both box designs.

What we are thinking about doing is offer both designs and let the customer choose the box design.

Thanks for the dirrections on how to make the bottle not so stiff, I have the same problem with my fingers lazerred.:(

I would have to say that these mods are out of there protype stage and ready for all our customers...just need to get some pic's posted of both types of box designs.

We Call the Mod...The Big 3.7 Bottomfeeder... (also 6volt) using 2 protected CR123.

Thanks Ron OG

RANT ON-Freakin' postal screwups! OUT FOR DELIVERY means it will be in my mailbox. O wait...it is USPS....today that means he didn't leave it for whatever reason and after a stop at PO I am told to go back to PO to pick it up after the driver gets back after his route. Provided of course that he doesn't deliver it elsewhere. Whatever! Rant OFF.

Sun is shining so a trip to PO won't be a problem. May even be nice to get out for another short ride...it is only 2 miles after all. Life is good.... I should have pics and be vaping that puppy later this afternoon.

Anyone else get their expected delivery today? Pics please!
