For others searching... I stripped some wire. I kept the jacket, and cut it so it was a teeny-tiny collar. Ideally, just a hair longer than the length between the top of the bottle and the atty connector. Slide that over the needle prior to reinserting the bottle. It's stopped all leaks. I have no idea if the jacket is being heated much, but it hasn't melted on or anything like that yet.

I can't tell you what gauge wire it is, but I can tell you that I clipped it from a SATA to IDE power connector that I had lying around on my desk. If I had to guess... 22AWG?

What a great Idea..thanks so much I will check into doing that on every bottle assemble.

Thanks Ron Old Goat

Translation: Get some cheap speaker wire. Use wire strippers to expose the wire. You know that part of the wire covering that you just stripped off? Use *that* to make a collar for the bottle-needle.

Look, it's not a perfect solution. When you pull the bottle out, you can see that there's juice pooled on the DIY collar I put on there. But the important part is that the juice isn't running down the bottle or somewhere in the mod. It's just there blocking other juice from following the same path.

The juice bottles are still very slightly greasy/slippery, but that might just be some residual juice from my less-than-perfect refills and wipe-ups.

I just want to address the dual coil carts by madvapes...I see no reason why they should not work on my 3.7 volt mods and also the 6 volt mods.

The 5 volt mods uses a regulator and may not work with dual coil because it may think there is a short and shut down and need to be reset.

I personally have not tried them yet but plan on purchasing some soon.

Thanks Ron Old Goat

Ok folks, I need some help. I have the 3.7 for about 5 weeks and love it. But this week I am fighting the little mod fiercely and losing. The center post on the atty connector is lope sided. I don't know how I did it but it happened. I tried to use a pin and move it into the center but it goes right back to one side and slopes that way too. I tried pushing it straight through the bottom but that didn't work. I am barely getting a vapor out of it , if I move it , it works for about 3 inhales. Suggestions?

Sure do and that is him. He is a 8 year old rescue dog that I have had for 4 years. Now that I have more free time, he is always with me. He doesn't know a stranger and would go home with anybody. The only time he barks is when someone knocks on the front door. Then he goes ballistic, but as soon as I open the door, he would leave with whoever was there.
They make fantastic pets. He can be the Biggest couch potato ever or go outside and rip it up for an hour. He will retrieve anything I throw and always, always bring it right back and drop it at my feet. Never had a dog do that, and I have had dogs all my life.
Needless to say, I love him dearly. He is part of our family and one of my best friends. In fact, the only friend I have ever had that will not lie to me.
His name.........Rosco:thumb:

I found out that the little 3.7 bottomfeeder won't handle the dual coil with out major modifications...so I can't recommend using them with the small 3.7...but the big 3.7-6 volt will handle the load with no problems.

I also have made a 6 volt Bottomfeeder that uses 2~Cr2 batteries that also will work with the dual coil carts.

Sorry for the misinformation on my part.

Just so I'm clear, are you saying that the 3.7 and the 6.0 are fine but not the 5.0? or are you saying that all of the big ones from 3.7 to 6.0 are fine with the dual coils?

And if it includes the 5.0 v, does that also go for the 5.0v bottom feeder?

The 1.5 and 1.25 duals won't work with the mods with the tiny button like on the 3.7v bottom feeder he sells.I got a pair for my wife and I and the switch on both of them fried.Mine was after 5-10 vapes with the 1.25 carto and hers lasted a little longer using the 1.5 carto.Just to let everyone know his mod and service is great. He offered to fix them even though I was using an AW IMR 14500 high drain battery which he said voids the warranty, but I didn't know that until he told me.I wanted a higher amp rated switch so I told him I would repair them and not to worry about fixing them.I put a 250v 5a micro switch in them both and they can use the 1.25 carts all day now.
