You'll love it Boodle. I've had mine since just before Christmas and it really kicks clouds of vapor. First thing I put on was a low resistance cartomizer and it was hard to believe how it hit me. I had been using a 3.7v pv before and could not belive I was still using a 3.7v pv the way my OG vaped. It was like a much higher voltage device the way it felt to me.
I picked up a few more 3ml bottles and now I can change juice so easy.

Enjoy....hope those batteries arrive real soon too. :thumb:

Hey there! I've tried a couple adaptations to my mod and one seems to be solving the leak issue for me. I tried the small clear tube over the needle and it worked but I lost it when I changed bottles. I actually saw juice standing inside that tube and nothing else was getting wet! Awesome. I then tried to find rubber "o" rings but couldn't find any that have a tight fit. If you can recall what size you got that worked Ron, let me (us) know so I can try them. Then I found some rubberized/gel like pen grips and cut a small piece out of that, poked a small hole in the center with a needle, put it over the bottle needle and after putting a small piece of tissue under the bottle at the top, installed the bottle and vaped for hours....The tissue looks dry and no more wet clothing-so far. Guardedly, I call this operation a success. How it holds up over time is yet to be seen. Thanks for the input. I LOVE my OGM regardless but it is nice to be leak free too.

Got my email from Ron that my 3.7v Bottomfeeder was being shipped yesterday. Can't wait...Got my batteries charged already. This will be my first mod, a bottomfeeder no less, so I've got another learning curve. It really helps to read so many helpful post on this thread , so maybe I'll be prepared.

With the luck I've been having with computers, I was beginning to wonder if I was ever going to be able to stay connected long enough to put in an order!! Lightening hit my desktop a couple of months ago, so was using my laptop all the time. I accidentally knocked it off and busted the back off of it a couple of weeks ago. My boyfriend loaned me his old desktop that is so loaded down with his graphic work, it has very little memory left. Then to add insult to injury, I live out in the boonies and still only have dial-up. After some of the bad thunderstorms we've had lately, I was only connecting at a speed of 12 kbp. Can you imagine?!! I couldn't even reply to emails...if I could even get them to load. Guess it's time to catch up with the modern world get high speed. :) Will have to get a dish, etc., since I can't access cable out here in the "Holler" where I live. LOL.

It's kinda sad though, I made my emails to Ron and Zack so short that I really don't even know what I'm actually getting, except a 3.7v, unpainted with a lanyard. I couldn't even reply to tell what color led I wanted, but I'm sure I'll be happy right now with anything from Ron.

Keep the good post coming, and I'll be sure to let ya'll know how it works out for me.

Congrats Dena,
My bet is you will dig it completely. Some flood their attys early on getting used to squeezing the juice up, but it won't take ya long, really. If you have a low resistance on, it is much like a higher voltage PV. It really kicks it up a notch. For an inexpensive mod - OldGoats work just can not be beat. Since my brothers in Kandahar, Afghanistan want more of them - it should tell you something. Of course, theirs have NO lights due to safetly reasons. The guys can't vape up at night with a light coming on, so I have Ron leave the lights out of theirs, and he paints them Stealth Black. The guys love the lanyards cuz they can "drop" them in a heartbeat and still have them close by when needed.
Ron is one heck of a USA bred patriot and the guys in Kandahar appreciate him more than he'll ever know. :thumb:

I am Going to be Out of Town for Easter and will be back on Monday.

Thanks Ron Old Goat

Have a great Easter Ron...and all ECF members here...with family, friends, or just yourselves. After church, my wife and I will be going to Ruby Tuesday for a great meal. Love that place. :thumb:

Travel safe and remember the sacrifice Jesus made for each of us.

I'm really hoping my OGM arrives today. I'll be stalking the mailman here in about an hour. Want to get it set up and working before leaving for work this afternoon. I ordered four different types of LR atomizers from Madvapes the other day and they arrived yesterday. Cleaned them up and am trying them out of my SE Rivas. When I ordered the atties I really didn't know which would be best so I got one of each LR, including their 306, but forgot to get the drip tip for it. Oh Well?! Another order later on after I have an idea which works best.

Which attie do most of you OGM use and why? I thought the atties with my SE Riva were supposed to LR, but these new ones are giving me a lot more flavor and vapor...? I've been going back thru some of my DIY juices and they are really tasting different....some better and some I will need to "tweak" a little; But all are mostly Better.

BTW: Rosco, sounds like Ron isn't the only USA born patriot around the vaping world! Keep up the good for for our Troops. I can only imagine how excited they must be when they get one your care packages!! WTO!! :vapor:

I've been reading through the thread, and haven't seen anyone mention it.

Is anyone using a 3.7 mod with a tank of some sort?

We have just ordered tanks from Stormy here on EFC, and I am SOOO interested in an OG Mod, but I'd really like to know my tank is going to work on it before I buy one!

Thanks!
Amber

I think one of oldgoat's non-feeder mods would work near perfectly with Stormy's tank mods. For his 3.7V mod, I would probably prefer 2.4 Ω, and the 3.0 Ω on his 5V mod.

I was just talking about this....I think a lot prefer the 306, but the drip tip (which you didnt get) are generally plastic that slide over the entire atty. I TASTE it. I dont like it. It morphs my favorite flavor a bit too. Hotter and more floral. 510 seems cooler but muted a portion of my flavor.

I just ordered a 501>801 adapter and reg and LR atty for that to try that instead.

You were smart to order a bunch of different stuff because I definitely have not found my sweet spot with this as far as attys go.

Shesalynx, I've been using a LR510 and really have great vaping all the time. My first experience with my OG was with a LR510 and it just shocked me the amount of vapor I got. I'd been using a 3.7V PV before, but never got hits like I got with my OldGoat.

Speaking of OldGoats...I know ur out of town Ron for Easter, but my package was received and again...I can not thank you enough. Sincerely, I appreciate you very much. My package to the guys in Kandahar went out Saturday, full of LR510's, juice, batteries, and of course...OldGoat Mods! with homemade cookies as the kicker.
I purposely did not tell them everything I included in the package. Can't wait to get their response.

Thank you Ron for your OldGoat mods. I would not have ever known what vaping could really be like had I not got one around Christmas time. I've been "coasting" ever since. :thumb:

Hi all, I just got my 3.7v OGBF yesterday.

2 questions:
  • It seems I'm leaking juice somewhere. I feel it on the bottle and occassionally have seen a drip. Got any tips on why/where it's leaking and how to stop it?
  • How do you refill these bottles? My method for now is to insert the needle into a larger bottle, flip, squonk-n-hold, flip, release. I have to repeat this 5 times or so. I'm in constant fear that I'm going to send a pool of juice onto the desk.
