I was just wondering if there is any demand for solar powered mods.

I was thinking they would be good to have for emergency situation and I might build one for myself and see how it goes.

They wouldn't be good for everyday use because of the chance of juice entering the emergency chargers case...but they sure would be nice to have if you really needed a vape and there was no electricity...LOL
(like we had here a week ago)

If there is an interest let Zach or I know and I can check into price and supplies.

Thanks Ron Old Goat~Old Goat Mods

Let me put it this way Ron, if you would make it, I would buy it!

yeah, there is certainly an interest. After I posted a photo of the one my husband made for me.......I was contacted by 2 vendors & pretty much overwhelmed by PMs.

If anyone is interested I will be placing an order to China to get some cheap emergency chargers...don't need money just want to get an Idea how many to purchase...I am not sure how they will even work until I test one out myself.

If they do work nice I will probably carry a few on hand, like I do with the flashlight mods.

Thanks Old Goat

I make a Big 3.7 Bottomfeeder that uses a 18650 battery which lasts for days before needing a recharge...I believe that my 14500 3.7 lasts as long or longer than the e-go, I go all day and most the night before recharging my batteries.

Hope this helped answer your questions Ron Old Goat

Anyone reading this thread have one of the 18650 feeders? I'd like to know what you think about it. :)

If no one has got back to you I can give you my unbiased opinion...LOL

The Big 3.7volt Bottomfeeder is a very good mod for long Drives, Vacations, long weekends away from home. It is nice to be able to go places with out having to carry extra batteries, juice, and all the other stuff we use around our homes and work to Vape.

It holds 7 ml's of juice which also last me 2-3 days, about the same as the charge of the battery.

It is a nice mod to have on hand...when we had the power go out here for 2 days it was nice to have a mod I new would last a few days with out a charge.

It also has a large horn button switch which will handle the load that the dual coil cartomizers puts on the Mods.

Hope this helps...Ron Old Goat

I have one of the 18650 feeders and I really love it. It lasts and long time and has a nice big bottle for the juice. If I had to find a negative thing to say about it I would say it is a bit more time consuming to change the battery or add liquid because the box is held closed with 4 allen head screws (allen wrench included with mod.) So you have to undo these 4 screws to do make the changes. Otherwise the mod is excellent!

Excellent information, and much appreciated. I suggested this mod to the man that dropped off my POD and picked it up when our home repairs were done. He drives A LOT and would need something just like this. :)

Can I also get the dimensions of this mod from one of you, please?

Just an up date...I no longer use the box described above unless by special request. The new box is a 3 x C Battery Box which has an on/off master switch and a cover that slides on and off which is much easyer to open for battery and fluid changes. the dimensions are listed above.

We are going to update the web page soon I hope so there will be picture and better info. on all the new up dates and mods.

Thanks and sorry for any confusion...Ron Old Goat

Hello, been going through the thread and it is so long, I've finally given up to ask! What is the price on the vv? Thank you in advance for the answer! Also, am I correct in assuming it is the same size as the 5v?

The VV Bottomfeeder is 65.00 and it uses the same box as the 5 volt Bottomfeeder...Pics can be seen on page 141.

Thanks Ron Old Goat
