I made a couple stealth box mod for a customer which were made from a single 14500 battery box and 2xAAA (10440) battery Box...They are just regular Box mods but they are very stealthy...He had me put the connector inside the box so his cart. would not stick out much and I was able to fit a 3 amp push button switch into Both so he will be able to vape with the dual coil with no problem.

As for size, I would say they are no bigger than a Bic Lighter.

I will get some pics of both mods before I send them out.

Thanks Ron Old Goat

Hi do you have those pics?

I just want to say I got my Old Goat Mod yesterday and it's really great. Looks good. works better than my 5v passthrough.

I ordered a 5v box mod (non bottom feeder). I was a little concerned at first because it took 3 weeks to get here after payment and I could not communicate with him because for some reason his e-mails did not go through to me. Finally I was able to catch up with him via this forum.

He told me he had 40 mods to get out that week. The guy cannot be making much on these mods because he charges 25 dollars for this type of mod and it cost him 3 dollars to ship it. Even if he just puts together parts from a kit he still uses extra materials that those kits do not contain. (I do not know that he uses unassembled kits, just saying he would still have extra expenses)

My hats really off to Old Goat. The wait was 100% worth what I got in the quality of the product. These have to be the best assembled box mods for quality and price you can find anywhere and believe me, I looked. I recommend Old Goats Mods highly.

Ron and his son Zach offer great mods for a very reasonable price, and has for quite some time now.
My first truly excellent vaping experience did not occur when I started vaping, it was about 30 days later in Dec. 2010
It started when I got OldGoats Bottomfeeder Mod.

He has many very happy customers, and his customer base continues to grow.

He has even donated his work to some of our troops serving in Afghanistan. Even after I offered to pay for these mods,as I have buddys serving in Afghanistan, he would NOT accept anything.

Based on everything I've seen from OldGoat and his mods, he is a great vendor providing an excellent product to ECF members.:thumb:

Just wanted to thank John and Rosco for speaking so highly of our mods.

John...I personally build every mod from scratch and it makes me so proud when I here people praising my work.

It did take a little longer to get to your mod as I had a previous order of 40-6 volt bottom feeder, I normally like to get them built and sent in a week or less so I have to apologize for your wait.

Rosco...if I can ever do anything to help out our service men and women let me know...it is the least I can do for there sacrifice for my Country and myself and I thank them all and pray for there safe return.

Thanks Ron Old Goat

WARNING:

GotVapes new Vision Extreme cartos do NOT work with the Old Goat project box with the round black lip on the top. The cartos are wider than regular cartos and do not seat properly to make a connection. Only way to solve this I suppose is if you had a 510 to 510 extension.

This really sucks, cus I just got two Vision Extremes for use with my Old Goat mod. I don't have an extension, so I'm going to either try to find a washer or make/buy an extension to get these to work as this is my only portable 5v e-cig.

Or I might take a dremel to my mod and shave down that lip a bit.

Edit.

Yeah I used the dremel. Actually I used a cheap 7 dollar dremel knock off sold by Harbor Freight. Used a cutting wheel to slice off the black lip even with the top of the atomizer connector. Now the Vision Extreme works Great. I hated to do it but I had to. If you have to do the same be very careful not to put a lot of pressure on this black lip and let your tool cut slowly. That black lip is part of the base of the connector that is cemented into the project box. If you are too rough with it, you may screw up your mod.

Alright, I really want one, but I can't seem to get a response to Emails or PM's - Any advice?

Send him a PM. He's a busy guy and when I could not get an e-mail response I was able to reach him here in PM. He may have tried to e-mail you and the message did not go through. This is what happened he said when he tried to e-mail me. Hang in there. All in all these mods are great, quality is great price is great. Took 3 weeks for delivery cus he's backed up at times but be patient. He'll get through to you if you PM him when he can.

I can make a mod for you with no catch cup...Just ask when ordering...If I can I will try to make the mod to accommodate what ever you choose to use for atomizer or cart.

Thanks Old Goat

Have not been keeping up with the Forum lately and I have to apologize...Will be on everyday at least once to answer any questions you may have...I have had a large increase in orders and at times it has been a little overwhelming for me...I still am the only person making mods...and plan to keep it that way.

Feel free to contact Zach or Myself (Old Goat) at oldgoatmods@hotmail.com or oldgoat20@hotmail.com

Thanks Ron Old Goat

Please Help ! Sticking switch !

Anyone have a problem with the button sticking in the ON position? I have had my old goat non bottom feeder a few months and love it but yesterday it went to sticking on the ON position. Now I have to make sure the master switch is Off when not using ( Thank God for that master switch!)

But this has happened twice now and the second time it got hot enough to melt the thick plastic mouthpiece of a Got Vapes Vision Extreme before I caught it.

It sticks sometimes and not other times.. don't know why.. don't know if liquid is getting in the switch and causing the connections to make contact or what is happening.

Anyone else have this problem? If so, what should I do?

Go ahead and wash the mod in warm soapy water and rinse...sometimes juice gets in the switch and makes it sticky...I have also use peroxide also.

If that does not do it let me know and I will have you send it back and I can take a look at it.

Thanks Ron Old Goat

Thanks for the quick answer Ron. I'll try it, let it dry a good day or so and get back to you.
