Hello folks.

Quick question for Ron or any other Old Goat experts. I am experimenting with using 2 14250 batteries in my 3.7v bottom feeder. The door is a little hard to get closed but it is vaping fine. Will running it at 6v ruin the mod?

Thanks for your input.

I'm not experienced enough to answer your question, but I would wager a guess that this would be a "use at your own risk" type of situation. At least you aren't risking a $100+ mod in the process. Hopefully someone more experienced will come along with more insight.

Running it at 6 volt won't hurt the mod, but battery life would not be the best...I redesigned the 5 volt so it uses 2 14500 batteries instead of the 14250's and the battery life is GREAT.

Thanks for your reply Ron.

I am a huge fan of your mods. I currently have two 3.7v bottom feeders. If you look around your shop right now you will see 4 more mods that are coming my way. I ordered a 3.7v black/red, a 6v, a vv, and a big box. I have not ordered the 5v yet but it is probably just a matter of time ;).

Keep up the great work!!

Its ok to use the Bottomfeeder as a box mod with out the Bottle and I have totally submerged my mod in water with dawn dish soap and soaked it for a few seconds to clean it up and dried it with some tissue and blew the switch out good and have had no problems...I do this about once a week or so...also if mod is not painted 70 to 90% alcohol works nice to dry and clean the switch and other parts...if painted be careful.

I like my mods clean.

Hope this helps Ron

hey ron -- is it ok to clean the insides of the 3.7 around the atty connector with a qtip/alcohol? And is it ok to use it with a carto without the bottle? thanks

Just wanted to let people know that it has been very damp and wet here this week so I haven't been able to paint any custom mods...It is nice today and will be painting all day to get caught up.

Mods should be done by the middle of the week. (takes a couple days for the paint to dry.)

Thanks for being so patients...Ron Old Goat

Still waiting on White Boxes have been using Black and I have to say they look pretty nice with the bottle just lighting up inside...I will be offering both Black and White Boxes as a choice for the unpainted sale Mods when the white boxes finally arrive (End of June).

I will be keeping the Price at 30.00 for the Unpainted 3.7 Bottomfeeders.

Thanks Ron Old Goat Old Goat Mods
